Just took delivery of Lahore, and it's lovely, rich, and subtle. I've owned Tempest for a while and adore it. Soma has become one of my favourite houses. Halcyon, Oud Fortius, and Oud Altius are superb.
I've only recently discovered Amouroud and now own 2 from their White Woods Collection namely Lunar Vetiver and Wet Stone with the former a current favourite. I have Halycon from Soma Parfums and it's incredible.
@@QuestioningScents I haven't smelt either yet but have heard the entire line is excellent. Btw I have a sample of Megamare but I'm struggling with it. It's truly potent though. I've been advised to revisit it down the line it seems a normal first reaction for a lot of people. I have also sampled Bergamask but I can see myself ever liking it.
@@4152008085 Its almost impossible to tell by smell alone so I always go with the assumption that nothing has real Oud in it , and then if it happens they do great. The Oud in these certainly smells realistic which is enough for me
@@4152008085 no there is no real Oud. Real Oud is VERY VERY expensive and almost extinct. All the perfumes u see sold contain Oud accords. If u want real Oud, you’d be paying thousands for a few mil. I suggest buying it up, it’s a great investment.
My first 2 Amourouds (Lunar Vetiver and Silver Birch) are coming. Blind bought them as they were on a discount. By the way, can you talk more about Oman Luxury fragrances? It’s through your vid that I got interested to try them although I didn’t get the overdose. I got Oud Aquilaria and might get Wanderlust next time. Somehow the overdose doesn’t “speak” to me compared to the two that I mentioned although I’ll see what happens next month. They have a small collection, cheaper than Amouage and IMO more wearable.
I have and love Silver Birch. My favourite Oman Luxury frags are Overdose, Paramour and Oud Aquilaria but I have The Promise which I prefer to OA although they are very similar and made by the same Perfumer
