We are basically a couple of fragrance fanatics who have spent many years simply trying to smell great. Mostly we get it right , sometimes not so much. Questioning Scents is simply us sharing our views and experiences with you.
Got this without telling what it is. I had to guess. Hmmm ... what do I have to guess,ok. 10ml came,I sprayed it. Sweet Jesus! Of course it's raw 💩 animalic Oud! I literally did what our friend did. I continue to smell it and wear it. Believe it or not it transforms into a pretty nice elegant scent. Wanna challenge yourself here you go. For alpha men only :)
@Eirini80 Very good , it's a lovely perfume , if you have tried Nasomatto Nudiflorum then you will recognise it in the opening of Encelade, they go different ways after that but there is some similarities
Hello Matt, I've been enjoying your videos a lot recently because I've got into Orto Parisi pretty hard. As a niche fragrance enjoyer I would certainly recommend you to try the Francesca Bianchi collection. She has a fair priced discovery set and I think you would like a lot of them. She heavily uses animalic and rough notes combined with her signature style muscs and spices. Under my skin, dark knight, dark side and sticky fingers are my favorites. Even if I won't see a full review on this channel I would be glad to recommend you this brand because from a true niche enjoyer perspective her fragrances are very interesting, daring and quite long lasting. Greetings from Germany.
@destryo3287 Hey buddy , thanks for the feedback. I have Etruscan Water which I adore , some of the ones you mention are lovely and on my list of bottles I want !
@@QuestioningScents Very nice to hear. Didn't try Etruscan Water when I was in a store selling Bianchi but I'll get the sample set soon. Keep up with the detailed reviews. The Orto Parisi Q&A videos helped me a lot to understand the fragrance more, because there is sooo much false mouth to mouth propaganda with the Parisi line (Seminalis, Stercus, Boccanera etc) that it boosted my confidence in my own olfactory perception. You described the fragrances for what they are and not what the marketing said.
Hi matey! I picked this up thanks to your review. Notino must have heard as the price at the time went up lol ! May pick up another in spain as it will be a lot cheaper. Any other summer bangers you can recommend at all? Or any vids coming up soon? Cheers 😎
Hi Matt, hope you're well. I've literally just ordered this. It's been on my wishlist for a while so happy to finally secure a bottle. All I need now is for some long overdue warm weather so I can get to enjoy it.
Hi! Sorry to comment on an older one but I have an inquiry: I found it interesting you compared it to l'immensite and decided to check out cobalt on fragrantica -- it seems LW orage/storm gets compared to it a bit more often. Have you tried that and have any comments? Seems storm is a bit more green and earthy, maybe petrichor like which is what is confusing me a bit here. Thanks!
@@QuestioningScents thanks so much for your response! I've been particularly interested in loewe's offerings but it's a bit hard to find in NYC believe it or not! I'm going to try going into a department store this weekend that's affiliated to try out cobalt, solo atlas, and the newer esencia elixir if they have it. I've seen your solo atlas video as well and that sounds amazing (I love TF neroli Portofino it just dies off so quickly, lol) -- do you have any other loewe pointers or suggestions that I should look out for to try out? Thanks again, hope you're having a wonderful evening and weekend
I totally get the grape soda, and wondered, initially, if that made it too generic and youthful. 2 days later, I was addicted. It's an all day mood enhancer. I carry a decant for top ups
Great review and AWESOME shirt!! I am thinking about pulling the trigger on the EDT Intense. I used to have the EDP. Liked it, but it was a bit fruity and sweet for me so I ended up selling it.
I need to stop buying fragrances, but I bought Giorgio Bevery Hills for Men and it very good and has a far more interesting dry down than I was expecting. Initially it smelled like other frags I have and was disappointed, but the dry down is different and very pleasant. I want to get PS and Red.
I wear it very often if I am not wearing patchouli essential oil. I just bought my Mom the gift set and had it shipped to her. I find Pure Oudi to be comforting.
Just now got into this fragrance and ordered it the other day and should be coming in this week. A bit off topic but what are those frames? I absolutely love and need them! Please let me know.
What a beautiful scent! I think it's very aquatic. My mind goes to beach when I smell it. My sample set arrived today, and this is the first I tried because of your review. It's a nice start. Thank you.
There’s a shop in Brighton that stocks a wide range of Bon Parfumeur. 903 is a current favourite of mine, lots of positive comments on it. Somewhat aligned with Givenchy Gentleman.
@kesfatih If you think I have the power to shake a bottle so hard it would change the molecular structure of a perfume then I must be superman. I have learnt today though my love that you are as thick as a boxing day turd. Now off you pop you mouth breathing hairy backed monster
Hi There, I had a sample of Tilia when i bought Jardins de Misfah. Tilia smells florally beautiful. Can you do a review on Xerjoff Accento Overdose please.
At some point people in this frag xommunity are going to wake the fuck up and realize they are being ripped off ($$$$) paying ABSOLUTELY OBSCENE PRICES $$$$ for these scents ...
I tried it in the fragrance shop where I purchased patchouli magnetik, and almost went away either way it too. Gorgeous, gorgeous, it’s definitely on my list. Thanks for the review !
So I got this! It's a lovely scent, and while it actually DO last quite a while - I could smell it on my skin the day after! - it sits VERY close to the skin.
this fragrance was a love at first smell for me. it's not always that a fragrance just clicks and that you know you gotta buy it, but that was the case with this one. gave me an instant respect for the Loewe house, and now I'll see if I find other hidden gems from there for this summer.
@@QuestioningScentshi mate, just to let you know, just tried the new Loewe Paula's Ibiza Cosmic and the smell is amazing. Maybe it's because I'm from a tropical country, but it instantly brought me to the beach, feeling the sand between my toes, drinking an ice cold caipirinha. I think I found my summer fragrance
