Well that’s crazy u say that specially when I myself have spoken to many sufferers that go into Mexico and say they love it it’s paradise and they will never stop going
I'm Mexican and let me tell you that that area is so dangerous, it's always important to be educated on what areas to avoid. I also feel ashamed of my country, these people have ruined it and keep ruining it for everybody.
Absolutely, Im ashamed more of the idiots who are still defending ridiculous arguments. I read one dumb comment "dont like MX dont eat tacos". What on earth! This is embarrassing, hurtful and beyond anything. My heart goes out to 3 men and families. Fortaleza
You should be ashamed of your country… Some of your best workers come to the states then fly the Mexican flag lmaooo. Mexico is a joke of a country and should be invaded like Ukraine.
@@adrikbarajas8190the cartel apparently wanted the truck and the surfers 🏄♂️ declined. It sucks so deep especially this Mother’s Day. I tell my kids all the time give it up bc life is more precious and not worth it bc thieves are going to take things regardless of you accepting or not and better alive than dead. Just let them have it. My condolences to the family of these young men.
@adrikbarajas8190 According to the Cartel who turned the killers in, they were not "part" of the Sinaloa Cartel but were just your regular petty thefts.
@@themastermind5638I’m not taking the word of the cartel LMFAO. They’ve even held my dad and his group on a side by side trip and kept them until some local cops came and made every one of them pay a couple G’s. Yea fuck that country…
Absolutely right, Mexican AG Is full of crap, no one believes the story , she's just trying to minimise the damage to the tourism industry in the region , those guys have been executed, there's more to it...
Mexican here. I currently live in the USA as a legal permanent resident. My wife tries to get me to go to Mexico almost every year. And each time, I refuse. My dad used to work for law enforcement in Mexico in the 90s, and he never wants me to go because of how unsafe it is. I feel truly blessed to live in the 🇺🇸. Edit: I see I’ve upset some of my fellow Mexicans. If you really believe that Mexico is just as good a country to live in, then why do you guys live here? The point of this comment is not to hate on Mexico, but to objectively point out the fact that the USA is a better place to live in. That’s just facts🤷♂️. No need to get upset over it 🤡🤦♂️. Y’all sound like all those Muslims who complain about living in 🇺🇸, while refusing to live in Islamic run countries 🤦♂️
Mexico is complete garbage. Same here,I don't go there anymore and probably never will. The cartels kiII innocent people, kidnap children and traffic them. Do NOT go to Mexico.
I love how murder is so rampant out there that they found 3 bodies that looked pretty similar to the ones they were looking for, but weren't really sure if maybe it was just 3 other murdered people
Oh you have to pay the police or detectives to do all the work that the poilce and detectives would do here in America that's standard for a murder but not there!f
As a mexican I must warn people to stay away from here, do not come to Mexico or do it under your own risk, your safety is absolutely not guaranteed here.
@beestoe993 Dont listen to him. I go there every year. Millions of ppl around world go there every year. Just use common sense and mind your own business.
I’m Australian and my heart broke hearing that the two Aussie surfers their American friend and the owner of the land were murdered. My heart goes out to all the families 🙏🙏🙏🇦🇺🇺🇸
I went way down in Mexico back in the early 70's. Spent 4 months traveling around. On the way back about 100 miles from the U.S. boarder, was stopped at a makeshift checkpoint along the road by a handful of federal military guys with automatic weapons. Made me strip down naked and threatened to put me in jail unless I paid them $300. Forced to sign over traveler checks or go to jail for 3 months. This took place in an old abandoned cement building along the road. I haven't been to Mexico since then and never will again. It's so much worse these days.
I heard In Mexican clubs, they drug your drinks with the date-rape drug special formula and later escort you to a cab and take your wallet, jewellery, phone and US passport.
@Ghostss321 lol stop it the same people murdering in Mexico are in America....south Florida has a big immigrant presence hardly any African Americans live there...the tri state area..new York, new jersey, Philly...mostly immigrant population...African Americans/black Americans are mostly in the south...Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, Tennessee....and now with everyone migrating to the south for cheaper houses...you have no clue who you dealing with...you can't tell who's African, Haitian, Jamaican, Latino..cuban Trinidadian...purtoRican..because they all dress and act the same so to say the country isn't safe because of African American is a lie...just because they have bl@ck skin don't make them African American
I’m a Mexican citizen, it’s a beautiful place, as much as brokes my heart to say it. Please for your safety DON’T come to Mexico. It’s surpassed by organized crime, corruption, injustice and impunity.
@@rdred8693I was considering it as well. Actually had been looking into it for awhile. I've changed my mind, not because of this, and am now strongly considering the Philippines.
Mexican here. This is a dangerous country, don't believe the lies or half-truths of people who choose the politically correct approach instead of safety. We even have lynchings, for crying out loud, so it's not just the cartels.
Mexican here, I visit all the time, but I mind my business, I don’t wear flashy clothes or look for trouble, if you don’t have family in a certain area don’t go to Mexico
So the property owner was murdered two weeks prior and disposed of in the same well? That makes it sound very unlikely that the three sufers were murdered because of a robbery gone wrong.
Exactly! Non of this makes sense to me. If they were trying to rob them then why didn’t they take the truck after killing the surfers if the “ truck” or “ tires” is what they wanted? Instead burned the truck/ tires ?That’s not robbery, we all know when someone robs you they take what they want after they kill you. Honestly the Mexican lady who talks about the robbery is bullshitting! And this guy being interviewed is bullshitting too! Idk why they can’t admit and say it’s the cartels! Oh course not they protect them. Total bs. This Mexican interviewer should have said straight up, “ Mexico, Baja etc is Too Dangerous for Americans to visit”. They don’t care but they got caught so now this! Bs.
For sure cartel activity. The “wanting to steal tires” is probably bullshit. Most Mexican authorities are bought out by the cartels. They probably just said the tire story to keep it off of trafficking.
If the US were to ban trade with Mexico, it will lead to far reaching and complex consequences. Which will seriously damage the US economy. Keep in mind Mexico is the second largest source of crude oil to the US, and a source of agricultural products. So beware of shortages and increased prices
I'm also Mexican and it just breaks my heart. The ones who did this and the ones who keep doing this make our people look even worse than what people already think. I'm sorry to the families for their loss 🙏
"I am Mexican and have not been there for years. I have no desire whatsoever to go there. Too much shady crap" I have bad news for you -- thanks to the Democratic Party, America will soon be an extension of Mexico. Already is in California.
the surfer community in San Diego and elsewhere, is not happy about this. How many times have we been searched, even harassed for marijuana at their check points? And they allow gangs to run wild. Tell Mexico to get their sh1t together because right now, many of us have decided to go somewhere other than Mexico, and spend our money elsewhere.
Mexico government is a joke. You get better safety if you pay local gang authorities. Those guys protect their customers better than the Mexican government.
Iv been living in Ensenada for 10 years , iv lived 20 in California , don’t come to Mexico if you don’t know people here. Do not go to tj. Do not go to rosarito to party alone. The city of Ensenada is relatively safe but don’t venture off to places out of the city it’s not safe for the people living here, its not safe for women and it’s not safe for tourists. The unspoken rule is don’t come down here like you have money , don’t come here looking for drugs and don’t look at anybody wrong , if you don’t mess with anybody nothing happens. But honestly don’t come you don’t want to get caught in the wrong place at the wrong time
Hi I read ur comment but I have a strong desire to do a road trip to Baja that place is calling me I love desert cactus mountain fish the ocean I’m in love with Baja. But I may wait x better times.
@@nobullfake1169 iv done a few road trips down south’s and its badass there’s a bunch of sick lil towns , you just can’t venture off the main routes and towns , I wanna do a motorcycle trip down to la Paz and back in like 2 years. When you do come down for a trip just come with people , I would say 3 cars 10 ish people and just stick the main routes and you should be fine
I've never been to Mexico before in my life. Looks like it'll continue to stay that way. But it's important not to go to isolated areas. Especially in foreign countries.
Went to Ensenada 13 years ago and felt safe. Revisited 6 years ago and sketchy as hell. Today’s climate I would seriously caution getting of the boat. Different world now!
@@michaeltabanao8092 we were on a royal Caribbean cruise to Catalina and Ensenada two weeks ago…. Catalina was beautiful, but Ensenada was pretty sketchy and we got back on the boat after a few hours…. You can’t even walk in peace without people trying to get you to buy something. Once I got back on the boat, I felt so much better
no no no. These guys were surfing/camping in a very remote spot that is known to be dangerous with criminal activity. Word is, they were first timers to Mexico and simply didn’t know how dangerous it is in that area. Rule of thumb with Mexico: if you stay in the resort areas you are relatively safe. If you venture out, it’s a roll of the dice.
Owner of the property in the well? Found the phone of one of the murdered sufferers with a lady who had drugs on her. Them surfers weren’t just there to surf. Out of all the theories told. Why not say the obvious one?
@@joserobertoramirezarevalo4610the difference is that most of those people that are armed are law-abiding citizens who are armed to protect themselves and others if they have to. They are not murderous thugs.
Well let me tell u from experience..san Diego is a border city. .it is know for the same...so just because amerikkkans live in San Diego don't mean shit
@Dino22440 it's not being bitter...I got lots of my Raza that live there and we ALL know wassup and clearly u don't and neither do these other ignorant lames
No way? Is this really new though? Why do people think that going to Mexico is a smart thing to do?! I’m Hispanic and I’m terrified to go anywhere in Mexico. Here is a simple thing to do. DONT GO TO MEXICO AT ALL!!!!!!!
Seems they aren't sending the best from Canada to Mexico hu ? 🤔😂 Hahahah Nah they never mentioned that they were looking for drugs and messing with cartels as usually then play being the victim blaming on Mexico for stuff they're provoking Etc etc so nothing new over here tho . but hey let's wait for the Almighty to give us a sign isn't ? Same on the ones kidnapped in Matamoros Tamaulipas they were looking for " cosmetic surgery " when all of them were drug dealers . They never mentioned anything about the tunnels under new York made it by z**********onism. ...... But hey they're the chosen ones isn't ? hahaha they're doing the best in Palestine isn't ? 🤔😂 They never mentioned that hu ? 🤔😂 But hey !!! 😂 Hahahaha Z10*****mism are behind all that they make entire nations fight each other so they can start washing mentalities like they did in vv.vv.2 ¡ but hey ! 🤔😂
@@melikeskalico3812 Yeah, it's not right. Corporations are buying and building homes in the USA and charging massive amounts of rent. How are any of us supposed to live?
It's been dangerous over there for over 40yrs, when I went there with 3 friends back then the locals made us pay if we wanted to walk around the beach & after we paid the people gave us death glares like they were ready to beat the crap out of us when we approached so we just drove away quickly then while we went into this bar we had to leave fast because of the same hatred being thrown at us just to get to our car in time cause these locals were trying to break into our car . I vowed then never to return.
I remember it being bad as far back as the 80s. When I was a little kid some college guy got killed in Mexico in a gruesome way, I've been terrified of Mexico ever since.
I am an American citizen, residing in two countrie, in Mexicali Baja California Mexico and I live in Calexico Ca (in my van while in the USA). Been living like this since 2008. Trying to get my husband his papers to come back and work legally in the US. Although overall I consider my stay and experience in Mexico an honor and privilege because I have chosen to be an asset to Mexico, laboring to rescue people and animals off the streets, working in drug and alcohol rehabs. And running a makeshift animal shelter.) During my time here in Mexico I have seen and experienced many tragedies and triumphs. But it is always tragedies like this that take a toll. Thank God for therapy.... I wish the immigration process didn't take so long. Still patiently waiting😢😢 my heart is broken😰
As someone who was raised and surfed in San Diego County, CA, I never went down into Baja to surf because there are too many spots along the CA coast to enjoy surfing. Another equally realization is because this (these three young men and countless others suffered) could happen at any time. I've been to Baja and Mexico a number of times because I lived in San Diego, but I was always leery about being down there as an outsider.
I've been to Mexico 3 times. Don't go outside tourist areas don't look out of place don't be flashy, stay closer to military patrolled areas. Each time I go whenever I'm out side eating or even shopping I see military and most likely armed police walking around in groups carrying ak47s and other assault rifles
Yea, there is no reason to trust the account of the suspects. The surfers probably complied and were still killed. It might even have been that suspects were going to kill them from the start and then decided to steal the tires afterwards as a bonus.
Owner of land and property dead in same location, bag of drugs on the girl, and tyres STILL on the burnt out truck and the whole thing isn't drug related? Riiiight🤨🤨🤨
@@loungepuppy799 cartels dont scare you when youre many miles away but theyre savage brutal people who tortue babies and more. Theyre cowards but some arent
When you drive on the freeway your life in your hands ,when you get on a plane your life is on the pilots hands ,when your driving down a ghetto neighborhood there's a risk of you getting robbed just like los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago,San Antonio, Detroit, Atlanta, Boston, new York just to name a few , Mexico isn't the only place where you can get murdered or robbed , please research before you talk
How times have changed. The underdogs/humble (ES) are rising & the prideful (mx) are getting their karma, getting the same rhetoric (of don’t travel there it’s dangerous) they once gave about the blessed country of El Salvador.
Im American black American and I lived in Mexico 3 years. The news will hype you to believe Mexico is more dangerous than USA but that’s propaganda. Things like this rarely happens . Especially when you’re minding your own business. Everyday we all turn on the news in America and somebody getting shot down or murdered. Mexico is completely safe and beautiful . I’ve personally visited Ensenada many times and it’s very peaceful.
My brother and his wife wanted to live in Mexico. They went and rented a house. Had a great time and it's heartbreaking to hear the news going on today. I'm truly heartbroken about this family losing their loved ones over what? There have to be questions answered and people held responsible. I remember going to Mexico in my senior year. It was beautiful. I loved it. The food the place I can't imagine won't ever go back😢
