Three Things You're Doing WRONG! | The Long Dark 

You're likely doing these three things wrong in The Long Dark, and it's probably what's holding you back from improving! The Long Dark has a lot of systems and mechanics at play that make survival hard, and the different experience modes you can pick from change up these factors to give a new twist to each run you take. If you want to improve and get better at The Long Dark, you're going to need to look in these three areas and make improvements to succeed.
The first is not adjusting your playstyle to fit different experience modes or challenges you're facing. The second is not planning ahead and getting stuck when you find yourself out of resources or backed into a corner. The third is sticking completely to the familiar to a point where you no longer grow and expand with the game and may become bored or disgruntled with your lack of progress.
