Threezero GREEN RANGER Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers 1/6 FigZero Action Figure Review 

He's supposed to have a black holster, on the left hip. The Red Ranger gets two holsters when he gets the Green Ranger powers added to his, and the Green Ranger gets a white holster on his right hip in the "Fighting Spirit" episode of PR Dino Thunder. So yes, this is accurate to the original, correct design.

Everybody wants their figures to be 10 out of 10, super perfect, no flaws, and that’s just not reality.

I'm mixed on the accuracy. The build actually looks pretty accurate to the original suit footage, Japanese suit actors were twiggy, but also like 5'10. The color is a toss up, some shots it's got more blue, some it's a much richer green, others the quality is so dark and muted who knows. The cuffs are actually fairly accurate. They've got that tube shape because there's a hard part the fabric is glued to. Maybe not that pronounced but close enough

The pace of content on this channel has been absolutely torrid lately. Thanks for keeping it coming, I know that getting these videos edited and posted is no simple feat. I don't have any interest in buying half of this stuff, but I love action figures and the exposure to different aesthetics and lines. Appreciate all the hard work.

For the price, it's pretty damn decent. However I do feel ThreeZero shines in other kinds of releases, namely robots. The Robo-Dou line has been excellent so far, offering great stuff for half the price than other companies such as Sentinel (which I also really like, don't get me wrong. But they're always too expensive).

Man that’s a lot of complaining for literally the best 12 inch green ranger there is. Ace Toyz is pretty good but when did our expectations become so high? Wanting every little thing to be perfect. The color is accurate to. The Green ranger costume Jason Frank actually wears is brighter green than the original “Dragon Ranger” from Super Sentai, the one this is representing.

I am glad I decided to pass on these. I feel like they wanted to go the route of Hot Toys, but skipped on the quality. Also, the lack of a unhelmeted head didn't sit right with me. I am going with the Super 7 line of figures. Hasbro's Lighting Collection is cool, but sold those off due to some quality issues, and unnecessary releases. However, I did keep my 2 favorite teams outside of MMPR, because I doubt Super 7 will go further than MMPR. Those 2 teams being Zeo and S.P.D.

Since I can’t really pinpoint which team is my favorite here is my top five in no particular order: 1.Dino Thunder 2.Lightspeed Rescue 3. Time Force 4. Jungle Fury 5. Mighty Morphin’

Really helpful review. Figures that can’t stand on their own is a huge pet peeve of mine.

In Space all day. MMPR is awesome of course - but for ME - In Space. Only 1 pouch for Green Ranger for the Dagger - period. He never had a Blade Blaster. When Red Ranger gets the Dragon Shield upgrade then 2 weapon holsters. I have been kicking tires on these but it seems like this may be a pass based on some of the issues you presented here.

I'd have to go with a higher rating on this guy. 9/10 for me. I have very few 1/6 scale figures (zero for PR besides this guy) and he really makes my Ranger display pop. His tights my not hug the figure like is shown in the box art, but I think this looks more accurate to the real-life actors on the show. You don't see that definition in real life either. My version hasn't had any difficulties standing. I have him on top of a Detlof with no stand and he hasn't taken any dives. I'm only getting the Green Ranger as well and I think he's a great addition.

Favorite Ranger team is easily Dino Thunder. Loved the story, had a huge childhood crush on the Yellow Ranger (I was 11 lol), and the White Ranger has my all-time favorite Ranger suit. SPD and the BOOM Comics MMPR teams are real close runners-up. I also don't buy 1/6th scale outside of 1 or 2 pieces (more if you count a few Marvel/DC Play Arts), but I have the Ranger Slayer PX Previews figure preordered because I adore that suit. Honestly I'm fairly disappointed at all the negatives you highlighted for this figure, especially cause Threezero is crushing it with their DLX Transformers line, so I'll probably be stopping at just Ranger Slayer, unless they give us a Final Form Lord Drakkon. Thanks for another great review Anthony, always appreciate the honest take with these.

The MMPR/ZYURANGER Helmets are just a total perspective nightmare. If they didn't have access to the helmets used for the hero shots in the show.....good luck with reference pictures. Red's helmet from the front/side/underside paints a weird picture of how it's supposed to look. Then you got the bodies of the American actors in comparison to the stuntmen. Those american suits compared to those sentai suits. After this team, you see the Sentai choose less complicated helmet designs. All the profiles make sense. It's like Bandai stepped in and said "Guys this and this won't work for 90's technology". Bodywise.....I feel they should more on an American bodytype I guess for PR vs leaning on the Japanese body type from the Sentai. If they make Civi heads, there is going to be a disconnect.

the holster is supposed to be black but on his left hip. The difference in the helmet and body suit are correct. As for helmet shape accuracy there are people offering helmets printed from the efx green ranger, and 3d scans of the different screen cast helmets at this scale.

Mmpr and in Space will always be my favourites. I got yellow, red and black on pre order!

This is out of the norm for your reviews but I been loving these type of reviews like the ranger series and the sentinel from Hasbro.

My favourite team is Turbo, because it was first PR to me. Hope you get a chance to check Ace Toyz versions of these 1/6th rangers, because to me they are better versions of these overall.

Favorite Ranger team I got to go with Time Force I don't know time travel was always appealing for me not to mention the story was pretty awesome and pretty serious most of the time especially when you watch the first episode. Not to mention it had my favorite Sixth Ranger in the form of the quantum Ranger

Is the green ranger figure from the 6 pack different from the single release, idk but they just seem a tad different? Anyone have both? Or know if they are the same or have a different body/helmet or dragon shield/paint apps?!

How do this compare with the more expensive GI Joe figures? Are they using the same material? I did not hear the complaints. But it is definitely cheap for this size.

Not a fan of 1/6th, they always look great in pictures, but in hand I've never liked'em.

He’s only supposed to have one pouch. The red ranger has two though when he uses the shield form.

The green ranger on had the black pouch . Only the red ranger had both because he already had the gun pouch.

To me, his proportion is kinda accurate to the suit actor's body (Takaiwa Seiji) back then he was young and yes, they're too skinny but that's what Japanese suit actor body build are usually sized. And his glove was supposed to look like he has tubes on his wrists as that how the suit was made. They wore white gloves and put some plastic tubes on top of the gloves to make them look clean without too many wrinkles

Not a perfect figure, but the suit is very accurate to the show. The only three nitpicks I have are that the wrist pegs should have been white (nothing some paint won't fix, and painting it tightens up the wrist pegs too), the diamond on his helmet needs a clearer gold trim, and his ankles need more movement to offset the standing issues. However, I have dozens of figure stands I can use, and even Hot Toys tends to include a stand because many aren't great at standing on their own. He should have come with a stand, but, again, they're cheap and widely available. My big dilemma is whether I want to get the whole crew, and while the price is good, they've got some cool ones like Lord Drakkon and Ranger Slayer coming out that makes that price start to really creep up if I want everyone. It sucks being between jobs and managing a budget during the holidays. Favorite Power Rangers team? Time Force. Amazing season and an amazing cast.

Are you getting the Mezco? If they are like their iron fist they should be good

I received mine on the 11th of June but didn't open the box until tonight. I should've opened it straight away because my figure has the exact same scuff marks on the Dragon Shield. Also I was reading the documentation that came with the figure and it says that you can only apply for the warranty within 14 days of receiving the product (which I'm now just outside of that window). I've never previously bought a product where 1. You have to manually apply for a warranty and 2. You have to apply for said warranty within a 14 day period otherwise the warranty is null and void.

U didn’t know it had snap back torso action! I thought that was a feature! They should have molded the wrist pegs in white. On your one pic u can see the skin color pegs. I think for $100 I would not recommend, because your gonna want to complete the set. How are you going to get them in dynamic poses without falling over. U can take this suit put on a phicen male body and it will probably looks awesome.

Worth it for £75? I do love the green ranger, but don’t collect 12 inch.

The one thing that definitely not accurate is the shield. If were going for accuracy to the original japanese footage then it was never curved into the diamond, it was always straight, following the diamond shape all the way to the shoulder. The horrible American cloth shield didnt even look like this, the only time its looked remotely similar was in the megaforce finale, and no one wants to remember that lol.

McDonald’s and Burger King always advertise their food in their commercials looking a lot better than they actually are when you go buy them at the store or restaurant. Of course they’re going to make them look nicer in the marketing. They’re trying to sell you something. Unless it’s a Hot Toys, don’t ever get your hopes up.

Yeah after I bought my threezero subject delta. Had to do a complete body swap with it and a lot of other things but I won't be buying from threezero again, their QC is absolute garbage. I had to do a body swap because the arms kept going limp after only a few months if using and having him because of the weak ratchets

Pretty neat figure but I agree I'm not too fond on collecting many 12inch figures. For the few I have, I prefer making custom ones. My favorite power rangers is definitely the original too

Honestly Rating it 7/10 is pretty low for an accurate looking figure the suit isn't supposed to be tight on him granted that's what the promo images show but its show accurate and Sculpt work on him is fantastic looking to the T i will agree the articulation seems a bit disappointing but its not the worst I've seen as someone who's followed power rangers for a long time and him having to be my #1 favorite I'd personally rate it a 9/10 ...... also the sword is called the sword of darkness btw lol

The best power rangers version was the latest movie release .. hands down
