Wow! That is exactly what I needed on your first project. I am 67 and I have my grandmothers white enamel wash pan. That is what I am going to do mine! Thank you!
Your spindle collection is a thing of beauty! And I don’t know why HGTV hasn’t snatched you up yet for your own show. You not only have more creativity in your pinky finger than most DIY-ers, but you are a great teacher. And FYI, I am a former teacher turned administrator, so I know a good teacher when I see one. Oh yeah...my favorite was the wood block riser with the “no color up in here” grain-sack stripes. 🤣
Yep! You really need to hire someone to open you up a shop! (Can’t imagine you having the time to run one!) Because I’ve been to Waco, I’ve been to Laurel MS.... just need a place/“Julie Shrine” to visit in south “LA”!!!🥰. Yeah I know sounds like I’m a DIY stalker...but this combines my husband’s desire to travel w my desire to design!!🤷🏼♀️
@@brendatomlinson (Ben) No just there for the afternoon (hope to go back...our son’s @ OleMiss where they went)...didn’t see the Gaines either...& stayed there three days!!😬😬. But did drive by their home...so fun...my husband says he’s not bailing me out for stalking!!🤣🤣
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns - I could BARELY hear it but I’ve got a trained ear. I’m from Lafayette. I thought it was somewhere between New Iberia and Thibodaux.
Love the rusty box with the black feet! Super cute and would make a great Father's Day gift. By the way, I think someone is going to discover you and give you a TV show! You are perfect in every way for that. You captivate viewers with your Louisiana charm! Have a wonderful Mother's Day!! Kisses & hugs from Florida!
I laugh out loud so often when I watch you! I love when you express your love of the beauty of all your old spindles! I love that you ALWAYS come up with unexpected uses for things!
What a FUN Friday Night video Julie !! I love that you have heart eyes 😍 for your stash of spindles ! I get it !! I loved the grain striped riser and the Gentleman box. I love that you had the perfect Gentleman Jack Daniels bottle to stage this beauty !! Happy Mother’s Day to you !! 🥰
Loved them all. The man box was so cool, especially with Father's Day rolling in next month. But, oh man, I'm dying over the "crash test dummy" experiment on the pan! That was AWESOME!! 🤣🤣🤣
I have an old colander and used a plant hanger from dollar tree to hang it. Love all the projects. 👍 I am a big fan of enamelware so I love the first project
Absolutely NO WAY to pick a favorite......ok, ok, ok.....I’d pick the large wood block with legs. I love these videos where you show exactly how to make something. I yell to my husband....”Hey! Julie is using a recipe card to mark where to put screw holes!” “Hey! Have you ever heard of a tool that blows off the man glitter (sawdust)?” Thanks, Julie! My heart leaps for joy when you post a video. 🥰❤️🥰
Girl... I can’t choose a favorite because I loved ALL of them!! My hubby would love that gentleman’s box! What a great idea since Father’s Day will be here in no time!😉 💖Happy Mothers Day My Beautiful Friend💖
I think my favorite was the wood block!! Amazing how something so basic can be something so amazing. And that wrack of spindles is the most BEAUTIFUL site I’ve ever seen! Love it all!
I just love the shallow pan….when I finish watching your show I’m making one of my own….Thank you so much for all the great things you make…I really enjoy watching you….
I have two enamel tubs just like that! My favorite video of yours was your other fry bucket video and I have thrifted 3 since then, so excited to do mine! They are my very favorite! The fryer buckets make me smile! I went thrifting with my bestie and yelled loud when I found one! People came over thinking I found gold, 😂 I think I did!
I GUESS I AM WATCHING THIS FOR THE SECOND TIME. BUT I KEPT SEEING THIS PAN MORE THAN ONCE AND HAPPY I FINALLY GOT TO SEE WHAT YOU'D DO WITH IT CUTE AS USUAL. THANKS JULIE
I LOVED them all Julie!!!!! You are right...feet on things are absolutely adorable!!!! We are truly in AWE of your spindle pile!!!! Thank you for another incredible video and I hope you have a fabulous Mommy's Day Weekend!!! Can't wait for your next inspiring video!!! :)
Julie, you did it again girl!!! I have several of the enamel pans like you used in this video. I also have a bunch of spindles somewhere. I’m having trouble finding all my stuff I was in the hospital or rehab this year. I contracted Covid-19 last Christmas Day and was completely out of it for weeks. After I got home from the hospital I got an infection in my knee and had 5 surgeries total on it. I was an invalid for almost 6 months but I told them I refused to accept it and I went back to rehab and I came out of it able to stand and transfer to a car or chair etc. I am now back to crafting and you are a major inspiration!!! Love ❤️ you and your channel!!!
I liked all these projects but my favorite was the baking pan! I was very impressed with how finished it looked! Thank you for sharing all your great ideas with us!
Your projects are all cool, but my jaw dropped when you showed that little Ryobi blower. That's terrific! I liked the cake pan with the feet myself. That could add a little counter space. Thanks for sharing.
LOVE THE “GENTLEMAN BOX”..... it is like the “ Irish Spring Soap” commercial...” Not just for men ...ladies like it too ❤️” Then the chunk of Wood Riser ! Think I have same chunks like that.... now I need SPINDLES 🥴 I truly love them all Julie! I have never seen a project you have done that I didn’t LOVE !!
I really loved the fryer baskets!! I think they would look so good with live plants in them. I looked at that big chunk of wood and thought of a door stop. I think that would be so cute.
I LOVE watching all of your thrift flips. I need to have a friend like you to craft with.lol The sky is the limit and there is endless possibilities of things to flip and craft with
Oh my goodness! Don't know if I can pick a favorite, but I guess I would have to say the hanging round pan and the masculine tool box looking one at the end! I would proudly display each of these in my home. There you go again Julie, knocking it out of the park with your projects! Love you!!
Love all of these! The first item, the white enamel, is an antique baby bathtub. I have one. Love how the fry baskets turned out. Thanks for sharing! Love 💕 & hugs 🤗 God bless you and Happy Mother’s Day!
