I absolutely LOVE the shoes! Those kind of shoes, called saddle shoes, were what all of us girls (4 at that time!) wore to school every year! And to see them used as home decor is so touching - brings back so many memories.❤ 😊
*Julie, you can also flatten your paper quickly by putting a sheet of parchment paper over your coffee-tinted paper and ironing it flat on the hottest setting WITHOUT STEAM in about 30 seconds OR LESS❣️🤎*
Your little bunny prints reminded me of some free images I used this Easter/Spring to create some decoupage paper if my own with tissue paper and my ink jet printer. After the ink on my images dried overnight I dabbed some color from markers on a baby wipe and dabbed it on the images I selected. They looked just like watercolor paintings when I was done. I wasn’t sure how they would work when I decoupaged them onto my piece. I decided to add Mod Podge to my wood, let it dry and then iron on my tissue paper. It turned out beautifully. A lot of people say you can’t use an ink jet printer for projects like the one I created. I can attest that is not true. I use my ink jet for images all of the time and have never had an image smear. Now I want to create some with some of the wreaths I have around my home. Thanks for always inspiring me Julie. ❤
I started watching you several years ago when you was in LA and did a lot of flips and craft things. I so enjoyed those videos. You kind of got away from that so it was good to see this video. I hope you continue to do more of these type videos.
So happy you have started crafting again, these projects are absolutely beautiful , I have made some pressed fern pics using live pressed/dried ferns which is challenging to make them flat and neat but worth it, I dry and press them in a big atlas, they make wonderful gifts I also love the shoes, so darn cute, keep it up Julie, I can see. how much you enjoy making something wonderful out of things that would otherwise be in a handful
HI Julie! I love them all, especially love the bunnies! I have quite a few of those bobbins, most of mine have thread on them but I do have a few without. I'm a quilter/crafter to gravitate to sewing items 😊😊
I’m so glad to see you back creating things again!!! I watch your thrifting videos but very envious of the Goodwill bins we don’t have those just plain old overpriced Goodwills 😫 I’m loving that fusion paint color! Can’t wait to see your next creative videos ❤
Oh Julia, I have some little girls' shoes for over years just hanging in my stash and boom. Thanks so much for this idea. Also, I've got some curtains rings that I also could use your idea for. Thanks a lot for this video. It's always nice to see you. Hope you are doing well. Bye till the next time. Yasmin😊
I've missed you, and your creative vids! So glad you are back. Everything came out fabulous as always. Loooove the fronds! Everything you do turns out gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!
All your projects today are so good. My favorites are the framed botanicals. I absolutely love them and want to create some myself. The bunnies are super cute too. Thanks for inspiring me.
It's so good seeing you creating again...love the bins and Goodwill, but your creative transformations were always my favorites...and I love botanicals :) Love from Susan in FL.
Love love all of the creations! I think the bunny wreaths/ tin would look really sweet with a fabric backing or even some type scrapbook paper. Just a thought
I really enjoyed this video. It was the first time I have come across it. Recently I have become interested in working with transfers. I do a lot of wood working and cut name tags as well as other patterns from my left over projects. I am constantly looking for ideas of ways to craft them. You have provided me with several new ideas tonight, and I am so excited to put them to work. I will be looking forward to your next video.
