I have Culver glasses at Blooming Grove Antiques in New Windsor, NY...stop by booth 44, lots of stuff for you to buy and resell! There's also a Good Will nearby.

I found a lisa frank pencil holder with original pencils unsharpened inside. Sold it for 40 bucks if I remember correctly! Found at that goodwill!

I found a set of beautiful Culver glasses at a Goodwill once but I left them behind because they had wrapped them so tightly with packing tape that it started to pull away all the gold when I tested it. So sad that they ruined them like that!

I had a set of 8, of that EXACT same Culver tumbler you have. It was about a decade again. I got them for .50 cents each and couldn’t give them away on eBay! 🤦‍♀️😢 I kept them in a drawer for at least 5 or 6 years after I retired, because I couldn’t part with them. Finally, I ended up donating them to another local thrift store whose mission I believed in.

I saw the Homeschooling Picker pick a Waverley bedding set the other day and it sold for mad money. I’d recommend at least looking up comps if you see that brand again.

I like the bins at my Goodwill liquidation center. Both glass and pottery are NINETEEN CENTS A POUND. I'm poor and those prices have spoiled me.

I feel like it would be okay to get rolling pins with crazing because so many people just collect and display them. They don’t necessarily use them.

Patrician amber depression cereals & luncheon plates would have been a good buy mint only the inner rim get nicks so you got to check that as well I would bought a fourth of what's there keeping in mind any other color pink or green the lot would be a fantastic buy.

Certain pieces can sell faster. There are more rare. Especially with the artist signature.

So I signed up to get texts from the GW's in my area for coupons (which are far and few between)or any events going on. The other day I got a text that they are lowering prices at the GW's in my area, on "key items" whatever that means.

The people where much thinner in the 80’s. This is a normal size L, today they probable call it a small. 😂😂😂 Just like with the normal coffee and tea cups from that time. They call them ‘very small ‘ now, but the truth of the matter is that cups are stupidly large at the moment and people think that is normal…. It is not. Part of the problem of this time….
