For anyone wondering, St. Vincent De Paul (some call it St. Vinney's for short) is indeed a thrift store and they usually have great prices as well! Also, that brown furry sweater is cute and reminds me of The Cheetah Girls!!!

Ahhh we also have a St. Vincent De Paul thrift store in LA (also know as the largest thrift in the area) onlyyyyyy they are notorious for extremely expensive prices lol probably the most expensive thrift in my area tbh so it's nice to hear it's reasonably priced in the midwest!

I enjoyed the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya when I watched it, but that was almost ten years ago. It’s good if you like a snarky male protagonist and a very eccentric female protagonist, with occasional supernatural happenings! Basic premise is the main character is a regular guy who gets dragged into a club with a time traveler, an esper, an alien, and a girl with god like powers. It has enough fan service that it can get annoying at times and certain episodes have some interesting… pacing. But it’s pretty fun too!

Haruhi Suzumiya is about a weird girl who believes in aliens/extra terrestrial species. She changes hairstyles everyday to match the alien's whatnots, if I recall correctly. It's just a fun school setting/kinda sci fi/teen age anime about high school students that built a club to find extra terrestrial characters 😂 I liked it a bit especially the last parts of the last season. Btw I really like your taste in fashion! I always have a lookout for your hauls, they are so addictive 😍

the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya was one of my very first animes i watched, and to this day it's still one of my favorites. it's very unique too, there's no other anime like it.

The 2 maxi skirts look like petticoats. Under skirts that you then layer over the top of them but so the frills and details at the bottom show. Like Mori girl, cottage core aesthetic.

I live in Houston and we also have a few family thrift stores here! They really have great prices and a pretty good selection. The one near me is also in a Hispanic area of town which means there are tons of really pretty quince dresses. My friends and I always try on formal dresses for fun when we go :P

I have a similar skirt to the white one. I style it with a crop top or with a bra top and cropped crochet piece. Because of the volume on the bottom, I try to keep the top portion more fitted...

is it me or would the tie look less short if you tied it more normally? it seems like the back is longer than the front and the neck is really loose in the clip, and both of those bring the knot further down so that there's not much of the tie left

haruhi suzumiya is about this girl and her classmates and she's not human she's some alien? who is capable of powers she's not even aware or something I don't remember well I watched it when I was 9 years old and I turned 22 yesterday but yeah I was very invested in the show at that time. you should give it a try it's pretty cool imo!
