So enjoy seeing what you find in Canada! Thanks for the videos. I do the same as you and shoot for $5 or less. I sell lots of items $20 or less in my booth and they add up fast. Wishing you the best with your booth!
I like that you showed dollar spent & potential profit ... 😊 and then broke that down even further. Makes perfect sense. I have that silver plate coffee pot with the original tags... Matching sugar and creamer. I got it at a thrift store that's attached to a woman/children, recovery/abused center. I think I only paid $4? You had a great trip shopping today. Although those prices are really high. WOW! I went to goodwill on Sunday. And everything in the store was either $4.49 or $9.99, and the clothes we're all $5.59. Most of the plush was 25 cents. They had so many Christmas figurines in those clear plastic bags. Lots of good things taped together with things that don't sell. You had to buy the whole thing in order to get what you want. 😢
Thanks! I always look at the whole cart. If one or two items will pay for the cart, then I’ll pay up for things. This VV is higher than the other one, but once in awhile I’ll find something they missed. Once I found two large merry mushrooms ceramic canisters. $14.99 for the set, I didn’t have a cart and had a few items in my hand, so ran over to grab a cart, by the time I got back someone was putting them in their cart! That was devastating. Now I never shop without a cart, even if I’m just quickly running through. I should of put down what was in my hands and grabbed the canisters, and then grabbed the cart. Lesson learned. $4 for the whole set is an amazing price!! I find the smaller non profit thrift stores have the best prices.
@@eclecticvintagethrifter I always grab a cart. A couple of times I knew I didn't have very long to shop. so I just got one of those handheld baskets. I filled it up so quickly that one of the employees came over and brought me a big cart. 🤦♀️😂 You always find really nice things that i'm never seen in person.
I hoped that you would find some vintage valentines items. I remember your sale preview of 2yrs on RU-vid was amazing....a lot of great valentines pieces!
Hi Nateesha ~ nice haul! the green Polish glass vase was sweet. the oval serving dish in a metal holder.. really nice! thinking the holder was just a wee bit out of shape, a little adjustment required, at one point the dish was sitting correctly. so enjoy your vintage towel & all linen searches. thank you for posting & Enjoy your day!
Hi Nateesha, Lots of high prices today at this thrift store. Is there much profit from souvenir pieces, especially if they're not too old. Have you ever sold souvenir pieces that were pretty valuable? P.S . You know how just before you check out, you sometimes put an item back from your shopping cart because you changed your mind? Well, maybe the woman customer who had the lamp in her cart that you mentioned, changed her mind (for whatever reason), and put it back. Maybe swing by the lamp shelves again before you leave and you just never know....maybe she put it back. 😊
Were you shopping at the thrift store in the wealthy part of town, their prices seemed a little "Rich"! Can't believe the prices in thrift stores lately.
I thought the Dutch triftstores where expensive, the Canadian are more. 😅 Are they all like this or is this an exception? Like your video’s by the way. 👍🏻
Thanks so much! This is an exception. Most of the thrift stores I go to are pretty reasonably priced. You’ll see in my next few videos coming up. True thrift store prices 😊
