Thrifted Floss - A Slightly Cautionary Tale About DMC and CXC 

I've only been successful finding floss at a thrift one time. there was 4 small bags divided by colors. No really big issues other than super old skeins of DMC and a really really strong smell of perfume.

Good call. I don't thrift DMC anymore. I have enough that I don't need to take the chance.

I have a craft shop I go to and they had dmc floss for 10 cents each. It is hit or miss at this craft shop but I purchased a lot of the thread.

No I have to touch and spend a long time looking.

Tbh they look like amazon thread that I buy the Pileay ones the do packs off 100 skeins for £10.
