Oh, I just love your channel! Not only for the great items you thrift in the flips you make but because it’s a positive channel when there’s so many negative influences. I just breathe the sigh of relief when I see a new video from Jamie Ray vintage!
That table runner reminds me of Pioneer Woman. Beautiful quilt and lots of great things. I think I would hang the coat outside, air it out and sanitize it. Let the buyer dry clean it. They use to see a product to use in the dryer, I believe, and it was dry cleaning it.
Jamie, I would hand wash the tweed men’s jacket in the bathtub or big sink in cold water and woolite, and let it soak for an hour, then rinse it easily by emptying the tub and refilling it a few times. And then dry flat on a couple of towels, turning every few hours onto dry towels. Agitating and spinning in the washer will damage the wool, possibly turn it into solid felt! Have fun! Great shop today!
I really loved the book haul at the Bins.❤ Swiss family Robinson is also in my favorite movie. And that book you picked up is fabulous. Great fabric pick up also. I think this may be my favorite bins haul video.🎉
As a quilter, I believe the quilt you left behind would have been really nice for someone in a wheel chair as a lap quilt. I do agree it wasn't really a color a child would have liked. Also fun fact - Julia Child used to be a spy for our government during the war. She wanted to join the Navy but was too tall. During that time foreign governments thought the wives of some Americans overseas were only housewives as in cooking, cleaning, etc. Boy were they wrong!!! Fun video - thanks
Fun video, as always. But wait! Those baby size blankets, depending on the look, make incredible little blankets for us old folks. And I don’t mean that I’m in a wheelchair needing something for my knees. I like a little blanket to just have for a bit of a warmer upper. I bought a baby blanket for my dog and I find I use it for myself. 🤣🤣❤️
Great haul from the bins! I don't know if you've heard of it, but there is a product called Dryell that you could use to dry clean clothes at home. I like the coloring of Zeb's stencil and the way the art fills the frame.
I went to your shop today to pick up my online order. I gasped out loud when I walked in the front door and saw the larger one with the pastoral stencil! Which made me buy that stencil 😂. This was after I knew I needed to add the crackle stamp set to my order after watching you two do that navy bookcase! That one is even more gorgeous in real life too!!
I just love watching you guys work together. I have “inherited” a booth at an antique mall and I’ve just started to fill it. I went thrifting today at goodwill and it was so expensive! I would look at an item that I think I could update and sell, but before putting it in my basket, I asked myself, WHAT WOULD JAIME DO? Needless to say, lots of things stayed on the shelf! Love your channel and thanks to both of you for sharing and inspiring.
@@JamiRayVintage you’re most welcome!! I’ve been very ill recently but I’m starting to binge watch to catch up again. You’ve been so inspirational. Thank you 🌸 blessings from Australia
I think the light colour on the dark background woks best - but its a great principle, using two colours of high and low contrast! Thank you, its always great to see you try different things.
The place mats in the very beginning are Ralph Lauren, Allison pattern. Absolutely love them, had sheets and comforter in this pattern in the early 90’s.
Good haul ...flags & bibles are good for the soul ! I read the comments & get all the quilts & steam the coats are good advice ! ( Such nice viewers ) Easter is next week ... we'll all be watching for any new inspiration🐰
I really enjoying your channel,.Thank you for sharing all the wonderful thrift flips, and tips and tricks. I have been binge watching your channel, I am hoping to do an antique booth in the near future. I have recently purchased several items from your website, to get me started doing my own thrift flips. I have been a trigger for years, and really enjoy doing projects, now hoping to turn that into a it of cash. Thanks again your videos are fun to watch and give me so many ideas.
Here is a loving suggestion❤️. Instead of so many, "I'm going to grab it." Perhaps use....... I'm taking this; I'll add this to the basket; let's keep this one; this is a keeper. Your journey is wonderful and so enjoyable❤
Dang it! I need thst Julia Child's book for my collection! We have tons of books at our bins but I don't find the quality you find. And the quilt with the scalloped edges! 😍😍 Also, with my 53 year old eyes I can see the sheep better in Zeb's but I like Jami's frame better!
You 2 are my favorite thrifted luv when you go to the bins that's my favorite place to go ! As for the challenge you both did really good can't pick one !😮
Wow what a haul! Can’t wait to try to get a couple things on Saturday. I love todays challenge. See ya Saturday…. Well I’ll see you, you won’t see me😂♥️
OMG.....all of the times I put new paint into a cup and added water to create a wash......when, I could have just taken my brush full of paint and used that to be the paint, simply adding water to create.....A WASH!!!!!! Dang!!! Boy oh boy, regardless of experience, you never know what you can learn until it just smacks ya up side the head......That's why I learn from the pros.
