Y'all are hot on Rick's heels!! 🤣🤣🤣 Had one of my best hauls EVER at Goodwill today!! Was shocked to find a Ping G410 Driver & 3wood priced at $8 each!! Cobra AMP womens driver, TM 320ti driver, $8 each and a LagShot 7iron for $3!! So glad I stopped in after hitting balls at the range!! 🤩🤩🤩

I used a Hawk Eye VFT 5 wood for many years. Such a nice, long club. Also a few years ago I was visiting a friend in Phoenix. We were out and about and I saw the signs for TPC Scottsdale so we went. I was geeking out at the clubhouse. An employee came out. I knew for sure he was going to kick us out. I said “I’m sorry I’m a tourist.” The employee says “Do you want to see the 16th hole?” So he took us on a golf cart to the 16th and even took our picture on the tee box. So the take home message is if you get the chance, you should go by.

I bought a full set of edges from a small city thrift store 10 dollars. They looked beat, but a quick wire brushing, and they came out nice! They also play quite well 😅

@ 10:00 that putter appears to be a clone of a PING “sound slot” putter from the 1960s. I have one of the PING originals in my PING putter collection.

As a resident of the Phoenix Valley - the Savers you visited - I found a Scotty Cameron in that particular bin - a once-in-a-lifetime find. Second Swing store in Scottsdale, would be a great place for you guys to visit. Great video.

I went to Savers in New England and they didn't have any golf clubs there so I'm glad to see you found some in AZ to compare with our thrift stores in Orlando. well you made it to Arizona, head up to Show Low AZ to cool off . Try out the Snowflake AZ golf course or Birdie Ranch for some reasonable rates and nice golf in the mountains of Arizona.

Haha, I have one of those 28 degree 'strong' Adams 9 woods, it's quickly become a go to club in the bag - high floaty 175-180 club into the green, much better than the 6 iron I took out, oh and it was only £20 - felt like you two when I bought that one 😂

The MIDSIZE BURNER irons WERE NOT the first HOLLOW irons from the firm. TaylorMade introduced the HOLLOW Tour Cleek irons in 1986.1987 saw the Tour Preferred TO3 T-D (Blade) Irons with progressively larger hollow cavities in the 4-1 irons (I bought a set, 1 iron completely hollow). 1991 saw a redesign of this combo set in the ICW5 (inner Cavity weighting in the 1-5 irons). Also offered that year were the ICW11, full HOLLOW, Foamed to weight Blade irons in 1-SW (I bought these too). People were slow to buy hollow blades, so they introduced the hollow BURNER MIDSIZE irons in 1994. Golfers STILL didn't want TECH so in 1996 TaylorMade caved and gave them what they wanted. The cheap to manufacture, 1 piece, cast cavity back BURNER OVERSIZE Irons. Innovation set back for years by an uninformed marketplace.

I was selling vintage clubs( mostly putters) on ebay like 20yrs ago. Being in the golf business and traveling a lot back then I'd come across all kinds of crazy collections and deals. Had a chance to buy Sportsman George Low wizard 600 but I backed out from hearing the Chinese had counterfeit that was exactly like the original. When the market was hot years ago one sold for $25,000. Need to check my attic I've still got bags full of old clubs up there somewhere. 😁

Wow, I just picked up a 1997 King Cobra 9° Deep Face Driver from a Salvation Army Store for only $4.00NZ. Cleaned up really nicely. Love your videos!

Slim pickings here, more clubs slip through the sorters in Florida. Some guy at PlayItAgain sports is getting a lot of clubs from the sorter at the main warehouse in Scottsdale me thinks. Amazing what a $20 tip will get you.
