Another fun ride! We haven’t gone this far yet on our cart from here in DeLuna. We’ve only gone as far as the Savannah Rec Center, and the beautiful water features across the street at Glenview Golf and Tennis Club. That bridge is a goal for sure! Also, audio was great! So glad it worked out after all. 👍🏻😊

Jerry and Linda live your life and enjoy the journey, we are retired up in NC Florida, we like Antiques, lunch on the East or west coast and piddling in my yard or on Building things. We had and loved 2 Pit Bulls from Puppies till 12-13 years, the best friends but scary.

Thanks for that fun ride! (guess I'm the "best of the best", since I watched til the end). We spent the month of May at a home located between Lake Sumter Landing and Spanish Springs and traveled back and forth by golf cart. That bridge is scary (but exciting)!
I just love these golf cart rides. My husband and I have only owned for a few months so haven't even had time to test drive any carts. Driving through The Villages on a golf cart is a totally different experience from the views you see driving in a car.
Thank you for the cart ride! I was hoping to see my parent's former home on Kiley Court it's a 3 bdrm, 2 bath, 2 1/2 car garage site built home, one of only 5 3 bdrms in that area. I just discovered it was resold in Oct. for 349, 900!! The home was built in 94. It broke my heart to sell! That scary bridge was the first golf cart bridge and I remember hiw amazing it was at the time. We spent many fine days at the Orange Blossom pool, swimming, eating lunch etc! I will forever miss thise wonderful family days!!
If I was ever fortunate enough to make The Villages my home, I would most assuredly have a magnolia tree in my yard. Favorite movies, To Kill a Mockingbird, Witness and Uncross the Stars. Watch the last one. It’s about a young man who visits his aunt after his wife passes away. The aunt lives in a retirement village. It made me start looking at these communities and how I ultimately found Jerry and Linda’s channel on RU-vid.

Jerry and Linda, I can't tell you how much joy your cart rides bring me. I know people may thing that is foolish but they relax me and bring such a smile to my face. The villages is such a beautiful place and the greenery and clouds are just breath taking. Thank you so much for taking us along. I loved it and dream of one day doing the same thing.

Great golf cart tour! I love the old school neighborhood. I remember growing up in the 80’s in the Los Angeles area watching the villages commercial. It had a catchy song. You may want to reconsider an electric golf cart. They now have these batteries that are made of lithium. A true game changer. One more thing, great decision on only having one mailbag Monday!!!
This was a great ride, really have enjoyed it. It's nice you got to have family along. I liked seeing the different home styles, and so nice to see all the mature trees in the neighborhoods. Very nice!

So happy you got the sound back for your video. This was lots of fun. One thing I wanted to mention… if you know you will be out in the heat on a particular day like golfing or some other activity, drink lots and lots of water the day before. Get nice and hydrated and then the day of while you are out, drink some water about every 30 minutes. You won’t ever get heat stroke. The key is the all day hydration the day before.
Linda the house you saw with rocks instead of grass is how all yards in and cities around Phoneix Arizona. This state is just desert full of rocks making it impossible to till the land and we never get rain so up to 120 degrees makes it impossible to have grass and flowers. I’m from South Carolina and this is quite different than I’m used to.
Thank you for the long cart ride video they are the best. Please continue to give narration during the videos. Some have stopped talking during their rides or cut them out entirely. We love them. More like this please.
Our courtyard villa near Spanish Springs was built in 1998. We don't own a golf cart yet so we've never had that 'thrill ride!' But thanks for taking us!

Nice to see and hear your thoughts from where you bought 5 and a half years ago, to what is available today in the start in Spanish Springs! Over 40 plus years later, and what, 140,000 homeowners now! That family made the CoolAid, and sold it to the world!
Gotta love the cart rides. We took a ride up to that area from our Lifestyle Villa in the Sawgrass area. It was a beautiful ride but a bit nerve racking through Spanish Springs and over that bridge. A very different driving vibe than the southern areas. Thanks for sharing your day.
Loved seeing some of the original areas of The Villages & hearing about the history…..thank you! I don’t know how you don’t get lost…..I would probably end up in another state and couldn’t find my way home😂
Comment.....On 6-11-24 We drove from our house, located in-between Lake sumter and Spanish Springs, down morse Blvd. all the way down and past the high school in Middleton to what the villages call the "street of dreams" model homes and then back up to meggeson then over to the Enclave neighborhood and then meggeson over to Buena vista, back up Buena vista to Lake sumter, ate dinner at Bravo Pizza and took the second to last boat ride on lake sumter. We drove a total of 86.5 miles. We have all those U-tubers beat!
I was on that ride! It was a great deal of fun! We packed a lunch and some snacks! It is amazing seeing all of the new soon to be villages, and Gizmo’s bench!

Oddly enough, even though it may have looked that way we were almost always under 20 miles per hour. I tried to keep it between 17 and 19 miles per hour.
Love the Spanish Springs area -- the beautiful trees and the unique homes. Hate the cookie-cutter conformity of the newer areas. P.S. I made it this far!🎉😊
Enjoyed the cart video. I watch all your videos while on my exercise bike. I do 100 minute rides of acerage 38 mmiles. So the longer the video the better for me.
Thanks for the GREAT ride! We moved here from TX in 2004 to the Village of Harmeswood, the smallest village with 66 homes, 2 blocks north of the Savannah Center on the east side of Buena Vista. I've never even been south of Brownwood, so it was a good experience driving with you from Dunedin.
*Road Trip* !! I enjoy this road trip and it's so beautiful in The Villages. If I ever buy a Golf Cart , it will be 4 front golf carts , ( like the one you are borrowing from friend ). And it will be Electric, with extras.

It’s pretty much that way everywhere now. It used to be first bite free with insurance companies. Not anymore. If your dog seriously injures someone your insurance will likely be canceled or the rates doubled at the very least.

There is much to see in the Villages, and it all looks so nice and maintained.
What a great ride! TV is a beautiful community, then you two showed up and it made it a great community. What a fantastic, fun foursome! Advantage short people! Although we may not be able to touch the gas/brake pedals 🤣 TV is not a gated community, rather a community with gates. Mr. Schwartz was a true visionary. At least Tom took advantage of the day by eating ice cream - smart man Tom! Good thing they don't have a height stick for the bridge, us short people might not be allowed on the bridge 😜

Beautiful ride! I looked for the Bouncy Shoes video and couldn't find it. If you have a link to her channel, I'd love to check her videos out. My favorite part of this was Linda's "Oh god, Jerry" when he passed the small vehicle. Reminds me of my own family drives!
We have found that when we have company it is better for Elaine to sit in the back seat with one of our company and for the other person to sit up front with me. This allows us to answer more questions and to point out more points of interest. We find that this works best for us. 😁
