@ 17:20 I know a vegetable shop opens after 7:00 PM and close say 1:00 PM. This is because people will be working in the city 6:00 PM then they will be reaching suburbs only by 7:00 PM . So shop keeper want those customers, and during day time people goes to other shop keepers.

Quite unique!! I really liked this local model of operating !! When the working time is similar in Mumbai, but here things close by 10 and only few designated lifestyle stores are open !! Thanks for updating, I am pinning this comment for all !

Lulu Mall in Trivandrum is currently the largest mall in India, spread over 19 acres, compared to the Kochi Mall, which is around 17 acres.

Tirur raod is not nh 66 there is a new bridge named chamravattom built in the down stream of barathapuzha 15yrs back. its 30km shorter than current nh 66. This road goes near beach side. Nh66 goes east and then turn back to west thus its a longer road. Kozhikode_ tirur_ponnani(chamravattom) road not even a state highway.

Thanks for sharing. Not being NH/ SH, the quality of road is very good!! Even in Kerala we found narrow lanes to be in good condition Must appreciate!!

You should have taken a detour in Mountains to Wyanad from Kannur and then come out to Kozhikode like We did... for 2 nights...It's a cool and Beutiful place ❤

We knowingly skipped Wayanad, as we were short on time !! Will leave it for our next Kerala trip, when we will majorly cover, Munnar, Kochi, Wayanad a bit better. This time we planned to spend some time across Varkala, kovalam, kanyakumari, etc

Bhai, try shawarma and Arabic food, Tapioca with fish curry and fish fry in Kerala.... ,biryani at Paragon hotel in Kozhikode. Also do miss Lulu mall especially the meat counters at the hypermarket.

You are not traveling on NH 66, this is a state PWD highway. We Maharashtrians are used to shit, by the way even PWD roads are super smooth in Kerala. Maan na padeyga malik.

Both of us had some debate whether we have taken NH66 or not. Both in Kerala and Tamilnadu we found even small roads in pristine quality. If authorities want, they can make it !! Since you are from Andheri, you must be struggling with the Gokhale bridge, where we have lots of excuses from BMC 😢

Yes, ponnani stretch indeed is a PWD road. Here in kerala 90% of the roads and SHs are in good shape with nice flat surface. By 2026 you will have 6 lane NH66 all along as they started the work on 2022. 4 years to complete 500km stretch is decent speed.

Nh 66 in kerala stretch is fully on construction phase. That's why roads are bad.

Why you are going by this way to kochi ? Have too many connection road from NH66 to NH544 NH544 Is 6 line and speed limit is 100kmph 🤷🤷🤷 Don’t follow the google map only They will show you the shortest route But time waste..!!

I took this road for a different reason !! Being settled at Mumbai, we frequently take NH66 from Mumbai to Goa. This time I just wanted to explore the full stretch of NH66 from Panvel (near Mumbai) to Kanyakumari!! Please watch our old videos of this series, you will love it !! In return we took Salem highway !!
