my theorie for the skill colours is either NC adding a priority system to make you choose what ability you should use rather than others, or that the colour indicates how you cast it. For example when its Red its instant cast and when its Blue you have a longer cast. Would make sense for me that it would change colour after procing some attack to instantly cast an ability

Nice analysis, I did not notice some of those things you pointed out when watching the videos. I'm super hyped for this game, I was REALLY addicted to Lineage 2 and Aion, If Throne and Liberty follows the same formula but with improved graphics it's already a bit W for me and a BDO replacement for sure.

Great video but I'm not sure about the skill quality thing. First, quality seems to already have a marker, since the text says it's level one and there is a small 1 in the icon. 2nd, based on the skill colours we saw and the types of skills we saw, the colours used are fairly universally recognisable in mmo's (red, blue, green). Notice for example that the healing skill/potion is green. So my guess is that the effect of skills change based on certain parameters and as such the colour changes to reflect that. The shield skill being blue is most likely defensive but under certain conditions it could heal which is why it might be green. Red would usually mean damage. So my guess is that something procs and enables either a different effect or an additional effect. Since we're dealing with a classless system and you said it was two different characters, I'd wager this is a down to trait or perk which changes what the skill does to fit either dps, healer or tank. Anyway that's just my guess, I'm curious to find out if either of us are right!

great video, i really hope its a longer term mmo. Still wierd that noone moves while doing skills, this could be a very bad thing gameplay wise.

yoo this looks awesame and after having 2k h in lost ark im down to try this does anyone know if theres a leveling system etc like would it be hard to grind as supp or u can have a few builds at once

Skill colors do match the ones in L2M but in L2M they are not colored in the panel only skillbook

lol Shadow Chaser is a rip of from LineAge II Dagger skills as Quickstep and Backstab in one skill. I am playing dagger forever in L2. Cool to see they really add some L2 skills/L2 Elements into it.

Did people not play blade and soul? This combat from what I see is taking a mix of carrying more than 1 weapon but still keep the fast pace blade and soul attack. Typically Kfm and Blade master have that parry system but doesn't work on later mobs because they become cc immune unless you do group cc

Have to agree with %chance for effects on skills being underwhelming and too much rng already. Also weather affecting skills is kinda broken and restricts specs when they are optimal for play. For example Lightning skills having chain effect during rainy weather is HUGE in mass-pvp which is the main type of pvp in TL. It either means Lightning will be unplayable besides that or it is decent overall and becomes broken during rain. And from my experience in todays MMO's (LA, WOW, etc) good luck in finding group if you play suboptimal spec, its just sad how people don't experiment with fun builds and just brainlessly fellow the meta and expect everyone to do the same...

Doesn't seem like an epic level skill tbh.. 100% damage. Long cool down, slow chance isn't insane.

I'm just hoping that game won't be pay to win, despite NCSoft reputation about it.

i like how gameplay feels with field of view brings the good Tera vibes or ban but skill bar looks kinda garbage

From the skill description getting RNG chances of procs is gonna be garbage in PvP. Have better RNG and win? Bet there is going to be passive RNG evade stats too. Completely removes skill from the game and kills my interest.

I think the colours are there so that women can choose their favourite. It's the same as when they choose a car based on its colour. jk

Game won't be much and it won't have much future. Just from seeing how ncsoft does things. Already their videos are botted in views and barely have any human interaction.

Point and click, got auto attack, f2p+ncsoft= massive P2W, release date 2nd half this year same as diablo 4, diablo 4 will eat this game whole.
