It's actually the other way around, xbow dagger would struggle more than greatsword dagger because GS dagger can lockdown combo targets from 100% hp to 0. But this gameplay you are seeing is peak crossbow PvP, leagues above the average xbow dagger.

Because of T2 dungeons, xbow dagger is no.1 DPS in PvE. Yes longbow/dagger is still good and I still have it...

Which do you prefer for pvp now, longbow dagger or bow dagger

You call it skill? He just use guardian and stealth and running near targets, and his balandir xbow kills people. This combo must be nerfed be breaking stealth.

@@Rooney323 same question here too, started on kr recently with xbow dagger, but the dmg felt so bad that i swiched to bow dagger instead, wonder if playing bow and later with better gear switching to xbow might be a valid play

Xbow requires significant gear to shine. Sufficient buff duration to make inject venom essentially permanent. As to have it off cd before buff even falls off. Then you need all the hit/crit hit/off-hand/weaken stats you can get your hands on. So your spam ability will essentially reset on cast. As purple upgrade lowers cooldown with each bolt that crits. You blow up on person with fatal stigma combo then sustain poison and harass till combo is back up. It does scale better than bow/dag and isn't reliant on a single stun to work like gs/dag. But getting to the point where you have all the gear. Is a LOT of swipping. Or insane grinding with luck. As your best weapons are world boss drops. Best to go bow/dag till you're geared "enough" to participate in content. Then pass on bow gear in favor of xbow/dag gear. Till you've got enough to make it work. Good luck.

Xbow and Greatsword both require really good gear to shine... but bow/dagger doesnt so it's more of a newbie friendly weapon

GS dagger requires a lot of investment to be good
