Live action is so gay signs of laziness and 3 layers of button gay no colors like green red or yellow and I used to be a guitar hero guy I owned all guitar beeps but after seeing live I went to rock band it is q bit harder to do since you need to be more accurate but it's really fun and classic as always

RB1/2’s art direction was peak for the franchise. RB3 was okay but the animations were kinda weirdly fluid in an artificial way. Then RB4 has zero energy and I think the lack of any screen filter effects/color grading makes everything way too colorful. The gritty style of earlier titles match the tones of core Rockband and their songs.

+droyal1994 I can plug in my GH5 ps2/ps3 controller (has both USB and PS2 connector) in just fine and it works, only thing is you can't sign in on that instrument.

It's not much, actually. The much harder one was learning this song on an actual guitar. The sheet music alone looks like someone just vomited notes onto a sheet of paper, it's that long and confusing.

+AbyssionQC the timing window killed me in the first rock band, but then they introduced breakneck speed in rock band 2 and I started nailing everything FC's. Did you try breakneck speed? it truly helps a lot.

I know very well breakneck speed, it's just my knowledge of RB4's engine specifically that is lacking since I don't own a next gen console.

+AbyssionQC rock band has always been less forgiving than guitar hero on the timing. even with breakneck speed. but without breakneck speed I wouldn't fc a song on easy lol. now I just started getting into guitar hero live, as if the new button layout isn't enough to retrain my brain, there's no hyperspeed and I'm being destroyed as its just to slow.

Hyperspeed is really just about getting used to it, GHP failed Victory Solo X in the first minute when he tried hyperspeed 5 after all (too used to no hyperspeed lol). I know the difference between GH and RB though. GH2 and RB2 are pretty much equivalent while RB3 is tighter for hopos and doesn't have a strum limit. RB1 has it worse with the timing windows so it's not all about hyperspeed :P.

wildthang32 I agree, even though drums take more energy, guitar is hard to focus and press bottons very quickly. But, Practice makes Perfect :)

+wildthang32 Well that kinda depends on the genera dosen't it. Punk and prog i find way harder on trums. Also songs like embeded from job for a cowboy and run to the hills are way worse on drums then guitar.

+dan the man different timings and windows. all guitar heroes have different windows. Guitar hero 3's window is like the largest making it the easiest in my opinion
