Not sure if your pottery is the same white clay I have on the east coast of the usa , especially the clay that comes from king william county ,.virginia ? I have always collected what is called williamsburg pottery, started in 1938 to 2010 . My grandmother , every year would travel from mechanicsville va. to the what was then called "the pottery" to replace dinner plates that had chips I believe it was blue willow pattern . I could watch the plates being made from start to finish as i line of college students , from william and mary college would glase and carve the patterns. I just enjoy seeing you throw the clay like they did.

can we have a sort of explanation or tutorial about that weird pull you make just after opening the clay?????? You can say it's a secret if you don't wanna share....
