I love indoor TOW. But, this movie is so 'Disney'. The sport is not supposed to be an 'David vs Goliath' thing, as both sides have the same 'total weights'. The sport is about 'technique', 'the will' and being 'one'. I think I would have been in tears if those girls would have finally come as 'one' when they take synchronized steps: left, right, left, right ... Those girls in the movies, pulls the rope like 'sailors' catching whale. Director/Writer have total lack of understanding of the sport.
They must make more tug of war movie's to help make tug of war professional. But they must also make outdoor tug of war movie's because outdoor is more popular. This sport is very good to help build character.
