White Zombie might not be a name you know, but you've probably heard of Rob Zombie before. I knew Rob Zombie from Dragula, Living Dead Girl, and Never gonna stop by finding them on iheart radio. Apparently He had started out as a producer for Pee Wee Herman, but that's a complete 180 from his image as a musician. He has done a lot of film and TV work since then, but I just thought it was cool that he's done all that. So, I also knew Rob from a supergroup performance of God of Thunder that had Ace Frehley, Rob, Slash, and Tommy Lee. All huge names and I really loved the performance (Check it out here: • Video )
When I was younger, I played Guitar Hero a lot, and this song was on it. I liked it, but didn't know it before the game. Fast forward to a winter break off of college, I went to a pool hall with a friend and it came on the radio as we were playing. First time I heard it in a while, but I was like "wait, I know that voice! Isn't it Rob Zombie?" Lo and behold, it was, thus prompting me to find out more about the song and the band and Rob.
Lastly, I've been requested to do more female songs and artists by a few different people. You might not think this is a female song, but the bassist, Sean Yseult, is a female. I've also done some other songs with a female presence (Halestorm, Talking heads, The Cranberries, The Runaways, Joan Jett, Blondie, The Smashing Pumpkins, Beyonce, and more). Just an FYI in case you were looking for some of those
