This show pushed every button for my nerdy little self. How nerdy? Thunderbird 2 was my absolute favorite. What strikes me watching this now is how stylish the show was, with surprising production quality. The same can be said for this tech rundown itself. Nicely done, and thanks!

I used to watch this show at the tender age of 11 yrs. This was in 1971 while dad was stationed at Norton AFB, CA. We lived in San Bernardino, CA. My friends thought I was weird but ok. I loved the show anyways. When we moved to Chanute AFB, Il (Rantoul, IL) I couldn't find the show and was devastated. Oh well... BTW, Those glasses on Brains... If you look on the glasses on The Professor of Rock (Adam Reader) I believe you could create your own glasses just like his. He gets his from Zenni Eye wear (not an official plug but it's uncanny how glasses on Brains back then match glasses of today from Zenni Eyewear.)

What a blast from my past! I originally watched Thunderbirds while on Okinawa. The local Japanese television station worked with AFRTS radio to do a simulcast of the English dialogue. I can testify that Thunderbirds is still HUGE in Japan. Thanks for the tech talks! Keep 'em coming!

😎👍A very cool wonderful blast from the past indeed Thunderbirds has always been one of all time favorite shows from when I was kid in the 60's to even now,I have many of the episodes on DVD along with the various movies, And I myself always loved all of the Thunderbirds but I have to admit T-2 was always my favorite for all that it could do with all it's various different pods indeed!,👌.

I just found out,that the actor who played:Parker passed away,either,this spring or early in the summer?He”ll alway”s be remembered for being the voice of:the butler Parker!Yes,Me-Lady!He”d say to Lady Penelope.

no he didn't pass away. David Graham is still alive age 97. He suffered a stroke two years ago but is bed ridden.

So the Characters and the vehicles were for some reason swapped in the CGI Series? Because in that Gorden is in Thunderbird 5 and John is in Thunderbird 4

Scott is the oldest Virgal is the second oldest John is younger than both Gorden I don't know and Allen is definitely the youngest right I need to look up how old the Tracey brothers are because I'm confused already 😂

@@alicehodges9964 John is TB5 in both series and Gordon is TB4 in both series, they also follow the same birth order in both (S, V, J, G, A), the only thing that got swapped for the 2015 version were hair colours.

Ok what is the age Grab between the Tracy Brothers? Like are most of them in thair Early 30s and Alan is 22 or something? , I know the Characters ant thair viehcals in the Reboot Scott is Thunderbird one Vigiel is Thunderbird 2 Allen is Thunderbird 3 Thunderbirds 4 is John and Thunderbird 5 is Gorden I believe 😊 i know because of this video since the 60s the Characters And vehicles are like that but in the reboot the Characters and Vehicles were swapped for the reboot for some reason and why was Tin Tin swapped for Kyo? And what happened to kyrano? The Hoods half Brother?

@@alicehodges9964 the vehicles are *not* swapped in the reboot, Gordon is still TB4 in the reboot and John is still TB5, same as classic series. Kayo is still Tin-Tin but they had to change her first name due to rights issues with the Herge character Tin Tin. Kyrano is still alive in the reboot but retired when Jeff vanished. Classic ages are: Scott: 30 Virgil:28 John: 26 Gordon: 22 Alan: 20 Reboot ages aren't specified but generally assumed to be the same gaps but 5 years younger.

That makes no sense since thair personalitys aren't the same I'm sure Pluse it was never mentioned in the original that Tin Tin was related to The Hood and I haven't seen Kyrano in the CGI reboot and Why chane the name of the Girl just because of Rights issues? So that's the Tracy brothers are Order? Cool 😊

I HATE That They Always Get John's Birth Order Wrong! John Is The SECOND Tracy Son!! It's Even Marked In The Opening Of The Show! They Show The Tracy Boys In Birth Order, NOT In Order Of Their Thunderbird Crafts! First Scott (Pilot Thunderbird 1), THEN JOHN (Space Monitor ((Should Also State ''Astronaut'')) Thunderbird 5), Then Virgil (Pilot Thunderbird 2), Gordon (Aquanaut Thunderbird 4), And Alan (Astronaut Thunderbird 3)! There's NO Other Reason For That Intro Order OTHER Than Birth! JOHN TRACY IS THE SECOND TRACY SON!!! ((P.S. -- Never Thought It Was Right To Leave Jeff Tracy Out Of The Intro Opening! He IS The Commander Of International Rescue!!!))
