Thunderbolt Blower Update: Quick Head Test and Blower Retimed Before Tune-up 

This finally answers my question! The roar comes from the horn, not just the fact that it's supercharged

I'm actually curious about something. For a while I had a sneaking suspicion that the horn-along with the Thunderbolt's blower-is what gives the siren it's signature burble, but I was unable to confirm it. This video kind of gave me an answer, but even now, I still feel a bit envious about that. Eventually I concluded that maybe if you fabricated a custom horn for it, this could have an impact on the sound. It could be a revelation for the community, but I'm not saying you need to do it. Although, I'm still genuinely interested in hearing what that would sound like...

Get the horn on that ol girl and really make some noise.

This also goes to give an idea just how much louder my mini hurricane will be once i get its actual mkii horn on it!!! The current demo horn is barely anything compared to the final horn. The demo horn is barely better than no horn

Been wanting to hear a blowered hornless bolt!!!! This also makes a great comparison to compare my 1/2 scale mini thunderbolt 1003 project to!!

It would be cool to know the db of the siren with and without the horn and blower
