Glory to Vietnam, the country which fought off numerous super powers and stopped a whole genocide while they were recovering. As an Indian, I’m happy india and Vietnam are good Allies!
Happy Independence Vietnam! You fought against China, Japan, France and the US and got rid of the khmer rouge! I salute your country for your resistance and bravery! 🏴 🤝 🇻🇳
Thanks for the perfect timing, but more importantly, how you dug up rare versions of patriotic songs that many young Vietnamese haven't heard of before.
I’m very glad that my country (despite being a close ally to US) never sent troops to Vietnam. Greetings to Vietnam and happy Independence Day!🇬🇧 ❤️ 🇻🇳
Unfortunately, your country had done it. From 21 to 23 September 1945, Franco-British forces invaded Cochinchine (present-day Southern part of Vietnam) and took control of Saigon just three weeks after our declaration of independence.
This was written in french in 1939 during french colonial rule by the same guy that wrote this IIRC, don't ask me why he wrote it in french but the OG sound like a banger
basically what happened: france: i made this dope song nvn: i made a translation of the dope song svn: i changed up a few words in the song and made it my anthem vietnamese 14 year olds: mmmmyeah vietnam made this
@@greyandperiwrinkality No, A vietnamese guy wrote it in french, South Vietnam made a parody, original writer got mad so he wrote another original version for the North which is this one
Despite being a pretty good song ,this song is excluded from school curriculum plus Vietnamese people hardly heard or even know about the existence of this song. Why, you may ask? Although the song composer is a Vietnamese communist, somehow the song was selected to become the official anthem of the South Vietnamese government ( anti communist ally of the USA) because that the best patriotic song they could find without mentioning how great it was to kill American or glorifying uncle Ho and communist ideology. I'm telling you guys this as a Vietnamese, currently celebrating our independence day(from the French) 2/9

@@KelvinThePatriot you liked the communist regime more? The one where people could barely scrape by and live, while the politicians ate well and were gorged with good foods and hired women to entertain them? The side of Germany that literally tried to starve the western side with blockades because the USSR was fussy that it didn't get what it wanted? The side that sent multiple women to camps to get r ped, one as a child for drawing a smiley face on Stalin because she thought he looked unhappy? Isn't the argument supposed to go that that's not real communism? Or maybe you were part of a family in Vietnam whom the communistic boots never tread on. Either bootlickers, or well-off members of the state. From North Vietnam clearly, or else you'd be more prone to understand the war crimes that happened in South Vietnam from North Vietnamese hands.
In fact, this song is communist, but the three sticks plagiarized the music as the national anthem of the Republic of Vietnam. The author himself objected to this already.
The fact the Vietnamese had to fight twice against some of the strongest nations in the world (France and USA) really astonishes me Happy Independence Day, you fought hard to gain it, total respect
despite being an Aussie, even though we fought the north vietnamese, ive always had some sort of respect for the north, probably because now we have a shared enemy in China, so i welcome cooperation between our 2 states

bonjour, French friend. Fun fact: in France there is a statue of Ho Chi Minh. We are happy this way, as it proves that Ho Chi Minh is not a bad guy, and that Vietnam and France have become friends after years of war. Vive le Vietnam

I really love this song, Lưu Hữu Phước created a lot of bangers. It just sucks that the South got to it first and decided to take it for themselves and now that's all the song is known for even though the lyrics aren't exactly the same as the South's anthem. but if that never happened, I could see this song being a strong contender for the anthem spot or just an anthem that could have been (like Mười Chín Tháng Tám) the song really caught my attention with "Nhìn non sông nát tan" and "Nhìn Muôn dân khóc than" It just perfectly described what the Vietnamese people were going through back then. Man... I really love this song, I just wish there is a way to redeem it for something it never did.
This is the offcial version, which was "stolen" by the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) as their national anthem - "The call of Citizens". The author, after enraged by this stealing, composed a whole fucking new song - "Liberate the South" - to reply this filthy act.
as a result, which everyone knew except /// dogs who are always thirsty and stupid, south vietnam lost. cant even be independent and loses just because usa left them. they even had to stole our song for their so-called national anthem
Thank you Ingen for the great song. Viva Vietnam. We once again affirm our indisputable sovereignty over the Paracels and Spratlys and the legitimacy of the war against the French, the resistance against the US, the resistance against China and the southwest border war carried out. international obligation to rescue the Cambodian people. 🇻🇳❤🌏🌍🌎
What few people notice is that the song called the citizen's call (TIENG GOI CONG DAN) of the Republic of Vietnam is a copy of the call to the youth (TIENG GOI THANH NIEN) that hears two very similar lyrics.
10% others is weird some not true nationalist, keep asking about the "hoang sa and truong sa" the one that like 5 years old mf that telling this song suck, even spam vietnam flag with shit next to it some of them saying "fun fact: this song is ....." or something
@@steakontheplate Oh if you're saying I talk like a 5 year old or something, then honestly I'm not a nationalist or always do the things you said above, at least not now. Not like that anymore because I realize it's not good.
Perfect timing Ingen. Btw happy independence day for vietnam (national day). After 77 years of independence were still united in under one country. R.I.P the children, men, woman, babies, and soldiers that lost their lives.
Factos: If you listen to the anthem of South Vietnam or Republic of Vietnam and compare that to this song, you may find similarities between the two. This song was composed by the late Vietnamese composer named Luu Huu Phuoc (🇻🇳: Lưu Hữu Phước). However, South Vietnam used this song without Luu Huu Phuoc's consent and made it as their own anthem with altering the lyrics. Not to mention Luu Huu Phuoc adhered to communism and he also protested the unauthorized use of this song from South Vietnam. So basically, a country whose political ideology was anti-communism stole a song composed by a communist and made it as their own anthem, pathetic.
yeah south vietnam got copyrighted for its anthem and paid the consequences for not listening to the vietcong. i also hate how they stole the song from the commies and couldnt make/use their own. it wouldve been better if they used "viet nam viet nam" or "viet nam minh chau troi dong," 2 very excellent songs which wouldve been a perfect candidates for a replacement of TGCD
