This video is about the TI-95 Procalc, Texas Instrument's powerful keystroke programmable scientific calculator from 1986.
In the video I walk through the calculator's basic usage, ROM libraries and keystroke programming. I also explain how to enter and run TMS7000 assembler routines by disabling system protection mode.

@@CalculatorCulture Yes, i bought mine for around 30 $, and now the price is 3 x higher. My favorite one is the TI-86, for the graphics, and lists. Although sometimes the blinking cursor is distracting me...

@@laurenth7187 yeah the 86 is a classic advanced graphing calculator. I should make another video on that. interesting insight about the blinking cursor!

Very interesting. Can you store multiple programs in main memory like the HP41?

Yes the TI-95 has a in-memory file system that you can use to store multiple programs.

While it shares a shape of the later TI-92, The Keys look very similar to the Keys on the TI-85

Hi, great review video! I just acquired one from estate sale. But it won't stay turned on unless i hold down the on button ;( anything i can do to fix this? thanks

That’s sounds like an annoying problem. You’ve probably already tried the obvious things like a hardware reset. It may be a keyboard contact problem or an electronics related issue. You might ask another RU-vidr Hey Birt! - he makes videos about fixing broken calculators.

@@CalculatorCulture i already contacted datamath. i couldn't get it to set flag 73 which is disable/enable auto shut off. I think it's the on off switch problem. already made up my mind to get another on ebay. At least it came with a statistic module which probably worth as much or more than the calculator itself.
