I adored the ombré blue dress of Princess Victoria. A true princess moment- Quite literally! She could have been Cinderella going to the ball. I feel like Princess Victoria is hit and miss with her dresses, but I felt this one knocked it out of the park. It looked like she knew how stunning she looked too. Again- glad to see serious sparkling bling on her head.
Hi I’m Royal Nobility of descendent of Hungarian King Hunyadi Matthias. My mom remarried an American Diplomat and we moved to USA and ever since we moved to USA I’ve been targeted by criminal police. I was illegally arrested several times as a family member of American Diplomat. I’ve been targeted by American police for over 20 years and I survived several attempted murders by American Unofficial Authorities. In 2021 Illinois Stickney Police attacked my pregnant girlfriend intimidated her and caused her so much stress we lost the baby’s life. They caused death to my unborn. Then Illinois Authorities were holding us captive inside a hospital for 5 days tried to drug us and put us under fear. They have sent a thousands of members of kidnapper organization to try to kidnap me several times. US Authorities not allowing me and my child to leave to safety to Europe, I’m being held captive in USA and I’m being treated very bad. I contacted the Hungarian Embassy and they are refusing any help, which is against the law because I’m family member of other EU former Politicians and I’m family member of Hungarian Politician and there’s law for Government Protection for Politician family members that Hungary Government refusing. Im contacting Media World Wide to see if if we can publicize my life story and see if I can get help from a Government to safety. Sincerely, Royal Nobility of Hungary 🇭🇺
Not understanding the significance of the gold or blue just shows the ignorance of this channel. I do agree with some comments, but overall, wow, no knowledge of Swedish culture, history or relevance.... Very sad.... INDEED
@@chavahbateli3355 I don’t watch the channel to “ understand the significance of the gowns.” This isn’t National Geographic or something! I watch it to see beautiful dresses, and sparky tiaras and Cinderella moments. Ultimately monarchies around the world are not meant to primarily provide history lessons. There’s books for that. IMO, the main thing they do in modern society is provide glamour, and escapism and fun. That’s why they’ve survived this long.
The Braganza Tiara sure is a magnificent piece of jewelry and queen Silvia does wear it well. It is however extremely heavy and uncomfortable to wear. With it’s age of almost 200 years it is also one of the oldest tiaras still in use. The swedish royal vaults contains several really old and historical pieces of jewelry.
My favourite look was Madeline’s and Victoria’s a close second. I actually think the deep citrine toppers on Sofia’s tiara would be pretty in person; she has brown eyes and the gems must echo her eye colour marvellously. I love Mary’s sparkly midnight gown but it isn’t as celebratory as you’d expect for such a grand occasion.
I’ve read that royal tiaras are best seen in candlelight - which is how most of them would have originally been viewed. It’s said that electric lights don’t have nearly as beautiful an effect on diamonds as candlelight.
You should have visited Denmark last year. Specifically Koldinghus Castle, because there was an exhibit about the 4 past and the current Crown Princesses of Denmark. The ruby tiara and jewels were actually displayed there then. But if you ever go to Denmark, you can see the Crown Jewel collection at Rosenborg Palace, including the Emerald tiara you talked about in the video on Danish tiaras. They are the only Crown Jewel collection on permanent display, while still frequently used.
Yay, yay, yay! I have been waiting for this video!! I absolutely love the Swedish collection, I think they are the most stunning out of all the Royal houses' collections. Queen Sylvia really was gorgeous when she was younger, wasn't she? The Aquamarine is my favorite of all time, and I wish we could have seen it during this occasion, but I suppose a couple of Fringes will do 😊
I know! I was hoping for something more historic for the occasion, but the Modern Fringe is clearly her favorite! I would have LOVED to see the Aquamarine, as she is the perfect one for that tiara given her deep blue eyes. Thanks for watching!!
The Norwegian Emerald tiara is a big gun and Queen Sonja wears it well. Honestly, I would be hugely surprised if Mette Marit were to wear it when she becomes queen. I read/heard that she has neck and/or headache problems which have prevented her from wearing large hats or headpieces. I think Ingrid Alexandra will be the next queen to wear that mighty tiara.
I absolutely love this video, Brittany! The historical facts are just an amazing touch. I have learned so much from this video and can’t wait to see more.
Wowza now THAT’s a tiara! I loved the bling, and I loved the gold colored satin dress for the Golden Jubilee. That woman looks amazing for 80 years old! KC- take note. Royal watchers love to see major sparkle for special occasions. I loved it!
I think it's also helpful that they wear them so much more than the Brits!! It seems like we hardly get any tiara events from the Brits. Thanks for watching!!
A very much appreciated and loved video! I love anything tiaras lol. You did a wonderful vlog on the names style and history of the tiaras. Thank you so much. Stay safe… Vickie
Love your channel and the tiara talk! The best! Love the first tiara on Queen Silvia. Love the fringe tiara the Crown Princess is lovely! And the sparkly dress on Madeline is stunning. I love the tiaras that have movement in them as you move, walk or talk. Your knowledge on the historical elements concerning all tiaras and gemstones and fashion is superb! ❤️
OH MY GOSH! What a BEAUTIFUL young GIRL Sylvia was!!! STUNNING! Our creations are lovely, ..but .. GOD"S living ones are PHENOMENAL! How much more then, will sinless, un-corruptible, new heaven, and earth be ?!? PRAISE JESUS! Thank You Brittany! You are a JOY! :)
Princess Sofia's gown is sleek, modern and very flattering to her complexion and her figure. The amber accents on the sleeves complement the toppers on the tiara. Princess Sofia dresses herself appropriately and elegantly while honoring the occasion, and she uses the one tiara she has in the most varied ways that she can.
We actually don’t have inheritance taxes in Sweden… Queen Silvia grew up in Brasilia and partly in Germany. So brazil and german are her two main languages.
The magnificent Braganza tiara and it's history! Empress Amelia was so beautiful and kind to give this tiara to her sister, as her only daughter had died in her youth.
I've been waiting Brittany but I'm so beat I'm going to watch first thing in the morning! I'll be dreaming of Tiara's The Princess's Beatrice and Eugenie I love them both!
That Braganza tiara is gorgeous! Queen Sylvia looks fantastic in that dress (nobody can carry off dark gold like a brunette) and the tiara is dazzling! they must have to do neck-strengthening exercises to wear it.
Queen Sylvia Tiara is drop dead gorgeous❤ Who would she pass it on to? I sure wish Princess Catherine could wear it❤ Queen Maxima wears her hair worn tightly back this tiara would benefit by the extra 5”. ❤
The Braganca tiara is stunning! Also remember that Queen Silvia is half Brazilian so she must feel particularly inclined to a tiara that belonged to a Brazilian Empress.
1)The Braganza Tiara is massive wow!Prettier when worn than up close. Crown vs Tiara? Agree didn't care for the gold gown 2)I love the Fringe Tiara so much! Look at the sparkle! I love the Blue Ombre dress crown Princess Victoria.👍🏼 3)modern fringe is pretty prefer the original tiara it sparkles. Princess Madeline looks gorgeous!👍🏼 4)Palamette oh it looks pretty I love jewelry I can convert. Dress is not pretty!👎🏼 5)Princess Christina Coknot tiara not a fan of this tiara, taking that back it looked smashing on the younger Princesses! Gorgeous 6)Queen Margarethe came to party she rocked the tiara the jewelry imo she had the go big or go home outfit! 7) Crown Princess Mary rinky Dinky 8) The last Tiara very pretty love the necklace love the higher base. 9) Norway Queen Sonia Emeralds tiara gorgeous!
I have to say I agree with you on Queen Sylvia's outfit, although gold is a hard color for almost everyone to wear, I think the style wasn't a good choice for her. When you look at pictures of Princess Victoria and pictures of her mother they look so much alike. I have an Aunt and cousin who look almost exactly alike both beautiful. Lucky for them, for me, I was blessed (sort 0f ) with my father's features, but, you take what you get. LOL Victoria is so beautiful, love her gown and she's wearing my favorite tiara, but I often wonder why the same hairdo? As for her sister, another beauty with a very pretty tiara. Don't hate me but I don't think Madeline's hubby is aging very well, he looks older than his years and a little bloated. Thanks for this video.
In a way I can understand why Crownprincess Mary of Denmark didn't wear the ruby tiara. It was originally a Swedish tiara as it came to Sweden with Princess Sofia of Netherlands who married future King of Sweden Karl XV. Their only child Louise married future Danish King Frederik VIII of Denmark and got the tiara and many other beautiful pieces of jewlelry from her parents when she married.
💎 I'm unsure it this is seen as a tiara. Its called the Queen Victoria's Sapphire and Diamond coronet. Can you please explain the differences between a Cornet and a Tiara or are they the same?
She's not all that. She's beautiful, but there's more to a person than beauty. She doesn't want to live in Sweden (and that's her right) but she wants all the perks and privileges of being a princess, with NONE of the duty or responsibilities that come with it. She doesn't want to raise her children in Sweden, or educate them in Sweden but wants them to remain in the line of succession (which is against Swedish royal decree). She has responsibilities in Sweden to her Duchy, which she's been ignoring for years and doesn't even care. When her father, the King, had heart surgery a few years ago, she didn't even come to Sweden to be with her parents or siblings, instead stayed in the U.S. She's just a pampered, spoiled, entitled princess who always wants her way and doesn't really care about anything else.
Princess Madeleine was gifted this tiara on her 18:th birthday. Not on her wedding. Previously gifted to Queen Silvia as a wedding day anniversary gift.
Princess Sofia was gifted her own tiara for a reason. If the intention was for her to wear the family tiaras, she wouldn't have been gifted one. She always wears her own tiara because it's the only tiara she has access to. For some reason, she doesn't have access to the family tiaras.
Crown Princess Victoria looked stunning in that tiara. Poor Crown Princess Mary is what some have called 'tiara poor.' She doesn't have much to choose from and her wedding tiara is so blah. I don't understand why they don't pilfer some jewels from one of her necklaces to jazz it up. They could take some of the jewels away from her elaborate ruby necklace and they wouldn't even be missed.
I think the problem with Royal Princess Mary ruby tiara is that it does not go with every color of dress that she wears. I think that it is beautiful, but the blue dress looked better with plain diamonds. I think she should be given a beautiful diamond tiara that has some substance to it.The wedding tiara is pathetic.
Braganza, Brittany, Braganza! I have said it so often that you pronounce it wrong. You always say Brazenga when referring to the big gun of Queen Silvia, but that's plain wrong. Please. You have come a long way and worked hard on this platform to present people with news and insights on the European (plus some other) royals, so I expect a little more professionalism by now. Okay, the second time in the video you got it right! Well done! But then it continues: Queen Margrethe II wears the Pearl Poirée Tiara (not Patier or Portier).
@@RoyalFashionNews I admit, it is difficult at times. Try not to rush over it, take your time. Rushing most likely leads to wrong pronunciation because the own insecurity breaks in right there. Take your time. This will lead to better enunciation anyway. Trust me, I am a trained actress, drama teacher, and stage director. You did well now with the Braganza Tiara the second time around, you did well, too, with the Khedive of Egypt Tiara. All very foreign sounding objects, true. You can ask me at anytime about such particulars. I am German, fluent in English, and I also know French, Latin, Spanish and Italian.
I don’t want to be critical of Brittany but I agree with your comment. The tiaras are pieces of wearable art of such importance that they are given names. If you where at the Louvre in Paris and your tour guide was referring to the Mona Lisa as Morna Vista.....my guess is that your trust in that tour guide would be diminished.
How come the Queen, or any member of the british RF never show up at any of these european royals social occassions or weddings? I mean, theyre all related.
Vous trouvez que la reine Sylvia est mal habillée ! Je ne suis pas d accord ,car en général ,lors de visites princières , c 'est toujours elle la mieux vêtue ! ❤
U dont half labour a point. I thought a european rf member went across to a south american country to rule but ended up being jilled. Cant remember which country now. Was it portugal to mexico?! Maybe someone can remind me of the story. I think the big tiara may be more than 2lbs.. thats just a bag of sugar. All those diamonds and metal surely weigj more than that.
@@RoyalFashionNews I do think it's kind of a statement from countries that 's not monarkies. It probably would be an odd thing for an first lady of a republic to wear a tiara that is so closely connected to royalty.
Those first three tiaras are absolutely stunning. And I agree Princess Madeleine knocked it out of the park, she looked like a perfect princess! I didn’t know the connection with Brazil, how interesting!
The Braganza tiara was stunning!! Very magnificent!! Loveliest look overall to me was Crown Princess Victoria. I didn’t agree with you about her dress. I thought it was beautiful. Her fringe tiara sparkled the most of all the tiaras. I loved Princess Madeleine’s whole look too. I thought Queen Marguerite was the worst dressed. Then, I loved, loved, loved, absolutely the most, the tiara with the big loops & hanging diamonds that was so delicate. I’m unsure who was wearing it that night, but it was exquisite!!!! So sad about Princess Metmara (sp?) Thank you Brittany!! So awesome!! ♥️
@@RoyalFashionNews Brittany… I’m old & had a brain cramp! I KNOW your name! I tell so many other RU-vidrs about you! When I re-saw my post, I thought ”why the heck does it say Tiffany???!!!!” I had a senior moment dear! Lol 😂
@@stargirlofantares9053The spelling is Margrethe for the Danish queen and Mette-Marit for the Crown princess of Norway. Not easy sometimes with names from other languages.
@@jessicaandersson4313 Thank you! I actually had just found out Queen Margrethe’s correct spelling yesterday, but it was just a glance at it. Thank you for the correct spelling of both Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. Just learning about the European Royals. 🥰
Princess Madeleine is without a doubt one of the most beautiful women in the world, and her tiara suits her. And I liked Crownprincess Victorias dress, and her tiara.
14:11 Can we take a second and admire how Madeline wore the Connaught tiara at the neckline of her gown? It looks like diamond embroidery at the edge of the neckline. Wow!
That Connaught tiara is beyond spectacular. It was worn by CP Victoria for Prince Carl Philip’s wedding and each time the cameras caught it from different angles it just twinkled. Absolutely gorgeous. And that massive, intricate, absolutely beautiful tiara on Queen Silvia……just wow! And, yes, I wish CP Mary would have worn that stunning ruby tiara too! It’s my fav on her.👑🩷
