Sounds pretty darn cool if I may say so. I personally have tried wargaming within the Tiberian setting, since CNC lends itself well to such hobby. But within a pre-existing system. That being ambush alley. Which was a whole different experience due to it being a skirmish level in the 1st - early 2nd war. So I am very curious about how will your take play. The alt timeline sounds quite interesting and it’s nice to see the idea of crawlers used somewhere where they can actually work. I also like your lego builds. I will definitely keep an eye on this one.
An interesting idea, I just wonder where they get air to breathe after the planet's ecosystem has totally collapsed and the sun has been cut off by tiberium clouds of dust. After all, there were untouched zones in the original Tiberian Sun, this is a scenario of total extinction without any hope of reversal. With such an assumption, it seems somewhat pointless for the factions to fight with each other when they have nothing to fight for anymore. GDI project to restore the land is completely lost and NOD without Kane has no vision (even false) of where to go. I'd rather expect that GDI try one last desperate race into space with a colonization ship before they run out of resources and NOD is practically a walking corpse becouse they dont have technology to leave a dead planet.
So this is a good point. I'm working on a lore supplement to give some additional context for campaigns. Tiberium Exodus is intended to be its own setting for exploring a different future, involving space travel for example, timeline for the C&C series.
