Complete translation of the song: When I glanced at her from a distance, Beautiful Rigzin Wangmo looked back at me, Under the blink of her beautiful eyes, It is true that me and Rigzin Wangmo have a special karmic bond. White clouds please move away, So that me and Rigzin Wangmo can go softly together. One day finally, I wish one day, I can go softly with beautiful Rigzin Wangmo Beautiful Rigzin Wangmo.. My love Rigzin Wangmo... Me and Rigzin Wangmo will softly go together.

Yadhong's rendition of this song is just as beautiful and classy as the original one. Thanks for the person who uploads all these Tibetan music videos =) Thukje-che-nang.
Ps, it is NOT a folk song in that it has been around for centuries and anyone can make money off it or play it. It just never got copywrited. Sam La never made a penny out of it and he was poor refugee when he wrote it xxx
@TibetanKid : As a matter of fact, this song was not written by the 6th Dalai Lama. Rather, it was written by an exile Tibetan who is now a Professor in Canada. I believe his name is Mr. Thupten Samdrup. བཀྲིས་བདེ་ལེགས།
At glace over the side! Elegant Rigzin Wangmo too looked at me (3 lines). Beneath the beautiful eyelid; it truly shows that Rigzin Wangmo & me have Karma! (3 lines). Where ever the white clouds move! wish that Rigzin Wangmo & me too, move along with them! (3 lines). Lastly I wish that one day I too go along with Elegant Rigzin Wangmo! (3 lines) oh! Elegant Rigzin Wangmo! Oh! Lovely Rigzin Wangmo! (2 lines). I wish that one day I go along with Elegant Rigzin Wangmo! (2 lines).
i love this song and i want to find lyrics of this song but my problem is i can't read Tibetan scripts .if anyone can suggest me where to find the lyrics in english or nepali would me much more appreciated .thank u
I knew that lyric of this song was composed some 300 years ago by 6th Dalai Lama but didn't knew that song was made by Thupten la some 40 years ago at TIPA.
@@MyMagickey You should read the poems of the 6th Dalai Lama which he has written many and they are mostly romantic love songs and some of them are translated into English. Perhaps his poems are the best romantic songs ever written in Tibet as Milarepa's poems are known for Buddhism. They are online.
Yadon la or other Tibetan artists: I have listended to other versions of this song and the the fifth verse regarding "white clouds" doesn't fit in the context of the flow of the Tibetan poetry. The more appropriate line is "sem pa karwa aala chik thang ...so ya la nee Nga thang Rigzin Wamgmo nyam-thue dro gyoo aala joong na " (Transalation: I wish.. I could go together with someone with a warm heart. I wish I could go together with Rigzin Wangomo ).
Hi. Was wondering if someone could post the lyrics in Tibetan (not the translation), but written in English script, so it's easier for us to undertstand and pronounce the words. TOO-JE-CHE.

I really like this song although I didn't understand a single lyrics. I am from Nepal and would like to request any of you to write the lyrics in English please.
