@@jakinthebox1567 the motor is probably seized form not being used. Giving it a couple of spins and oil should free it up. Taking the Tie apart is easy... getting it back together can be a pain.
@@KillerB1138 yes, I'm nervous to start separating things, another comment said to put in the batteries and keep holding the button, it might come back on
The new intro and voiceover is interesting. Who's the narrator? With this narration, the video reminds me of one of those nature documentaries on PBS. This is a very nice TIE Fighter! Looks like the fins snap into place well. How well do they jettison when you press the buttons on the couplers? Maybe we need to stay tuned to part two for that reveal. :) The cockpit view screen is in very good shape. No yellowing! I love the colorful stickers inside the cockpit too. Are all of them there? I can see the one that is visible through the view screen. Also, if you put batteries in it, does the LED on the front for the blasters light up? I've always liked this ship design. Star Wars is full of unique ships and this is one of the most unique from among them. I love the humor of it too since T.I.E. stands for Twin Ion Engine but also refers to its bowtie shape. It's funny how the TIE Fighter Pilot was released several years after the TIE Fighter. I bet a lot of kids put their Stormtrooper or Darth Vader in it in the meantime. I had Darth Vader's TIE Fighter back in the day. But not this one nor the TIE Interceptor. I suppose I didn't get the others because my family figured that I had one 'bad guy' ship, so I didn't need another. :) Would be cool to have one of those now, but I do have a First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter that fits the bill in the meantime. I did also get one of those smaller scale Action Fleet TIE Interceptors many years later. You can't put a figure in it, but it's still very cool. Fun video!
Thanks for embarking on this TIE Fighter adventure with us! 🌌✨ The narrator is a top-secret alien from the planet Narratron-9, but shhh...don't tell anyone! 🤫 We had to trade three space donuts and a moonrock just to get their voice for the video. Glad you appreciate the cockpit's mint condition - no yellowing here! And yes, all the stickers are present and accounted for, adding a dash of intergalactic flair. 🪐💫 And oh, the TIE Fighter design! The T.I.E. acronym is the galaxy's best-kept fashion secret - Twin Ion Engine or Twin Intergalactic Elegance? You decide! Darth Vader's TIE Fighter was the 'bad guy' ride of choice back then, but your First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter is keeping the dark side alive and well in the present! May the Force (and the fun) be with you
