Tie Rig with Wind Protection | URSA Tips & Tricks 

The Windy Tie Rig. Here is a quick solution for applying wind protection to a Tie Rig Lav Mic.
In this video Simon uses an URSA Plush Circle and sticks it to an URSA Stickie which he folded over and cut the middle out of. This creates the ‘O’ Shape to apply the Plush to. This is then carefully folded over the end of the URSA MiniMount hidden inside the tie knot.
Our Plush Circles have short pile hair while allows them to be much easier to hide in small areas, like Ties!
The end result is much improved wind protection without compromising the sound of the voice.
