Back in the day players from my country would call this tank "UFO" because of its camo, trollish spaced armour and looks of course. Good to see it still hold its own.

I am over 5K games in the 704 easily my most played tank over the years, oddly it never feels power creeped like my other old tanks.

@@Battleneter yeah, it was one of the first lines I've ever done in WoT, I think I got it in 2012 or so, back then it was a slayer even with my noob skills (as far as I can remember TDs didn't lose camo when firing, so you didn't even have to double bush, just stay in the bush and murder other tanks). And I never sold it since then. I played for the last time in 2018 I believe (1.0 patch) and I remember taking the 704 for a ride as well. Hell, if my account still exists my 704 patiently waits for me in the garage, over 10 years later.

I bought mine 2 weeks ago. And so far I have been having a blast with it. Massive improvement from the ISU-152. The gun handling is good enough and with russian RNG it can do something insane once in a while like long range snapshot T32 cupola while on the move

5:41 HE on this thing can roll as high as 1050 dmg which is pretty insane for a 152mm

17:26 That was so unlucky, man. There are 2 squares next to the gun where the model has spare tracks and it's 60mm instead of 40mm, so just barely over the overmatch thickness and RNG threw that shell right on there.

Not sure if it was because I played this tank long ago when I was less experienced or because of my high ping I have to play on but this tank was dreadfully inconsistent with its accuracy for me. I remember loving this tank at the start but by the end of the grind I couldn't wait to get rid of it.

Wow a true legend, im play this td last time in mid 2012. In this old days when this is top tier from tech tree im remember fear factor when you are spoted, enemy run like ants ;) But diferent time and total diferent game.

No idea about its current condition (since i quit last august), but not much before the BL-10 was taken away from ISU i bought my 704... Thought its gonna be some armoured ISU...But had to sell it after 10-15 games since it was WAY slower than the tier 8 and almost the same paper at the same time... :/

Word of advice on the Chinese TD tier 9. Both are very comparable although object beats it in speed and a slightly faster reload, gun handling and shell speed, however WZ 111G has massive pen and amazing 95 pen 1100 HE with combo of camo. I think in armour wise both are situational but i find the WZ to be slightly more trolly just because no one sees it offten at all.

@blakkwaltz I will warn you the WZ gun can be very trolling to you. I will 100% admit the SU gun handling is better, but the WZ I played with more fluently which is wierd. Tier 9 750 alpha with that amount of pen is absolutely insane and is addictive once u realize u can pen even krags in the face even if they are hull down

This is the first and only tank I have with 3 marks 😄 Really fun to play and has a nice set of features, except mobility. Also a heads up for people who play or want to play this tank but don't like the lack of mobility: don't play the Chinese tech tree tier 9 TD. That thing is even clumsier and slower than Obj.704 😬

I would beg to differ, Chinese tier 9 is a gem and in my opinion far superior to 704. Mobility is not as good but the gun handling and penetration are so much better it almost feels like cheating sometimes.

I used HE on this tank a took half hit points on tier 10 and player accused me of using cheat code and was going to report me to WG. No cheat codes it just hits like a truck load of @%#$&.

I think the Chinese tier 9 is much better than 704. Mobility is a little worse but the gun handling, penetration and 1100 alpha HE damage are so much better. I love WZ-111G FT, my best performing and most played tank. There is a reason I sold Obj 704 after 20 battles and still have WZ after 700 battles 😅

Confirmed: CC's has better MM and RNG then we, ordinary mortals do. Many guys with 9k + personal rating that I know told me the same thing: tank missing obvious hits! So I decided to try this TD and couldn't believe how it is RNG dependent. In 150 battles i had many with 0 damage or one-two shots .... like 30%. And ofc his skill make a huge inpact. So, avrg guys - do not expect miracle with 704, rng will made you smile or rage about this tank

It's so ridiculous that you pass the anger stage and go into insane laughter every time you see the shell hit the little bump 10m in front of you instead of shooting the tank you're aiming at at 100m. Still, though, going from Obj. 704 to Obj. 268 is like getting reborn. 152mm is always going to be a little derpy with the low shell velocity, but it's so much better than the Obj. 704. The ISU-152 and Obj. 704 made me rage quite a lot, but the Obj. 268 is pretty chill. Plus, 303mm AP and 395mm of pen with the HEAT is glorious. But I feel like everything after the SU-100 until the Obj. 268 is just meme TDs, only feeling like a proper TD when you reach Tier X.

actually....on elc....u shot a tiny bit too late and should not hit him!! but RNG has another opinion! take a closer look at this situation! every one can see, that u miss the shot 0.25 video speed and everyone see the scam in this game!
