Army of Laketown (not Survivors) is my personal favourite and main army, and Dale is also one of my favs, so this will be a great tier list to watch and see how opinions differ! I have to agree with Bard being A instead of S in Army, simply because his price factors in his buffs (which have no effect in this army), and Army's green alliance with Thorin's Company, giving you really strong and really cheap monster heroes. I do still often play him however, but he definitely isn't essential like in Survivors.
Interesting! We almost never get Army of Laketown here so I've always been really curious to run against it, seems like it would be a fun one to play as well -Liam
had to fight laketown in a recent tournament, 300pts. my 16 man uruk hai force led by lurtz simply couldn't do anything against the 36 model lake town army.
@@NoobsandMen every time I played a game with garrison at 500-550 and below since the new lads I always miss girion and would rather have him with me, probably because skirmish way and not as many big threats is on the map at lower point levels. In the LL is Brand great, not to have to take those courage checks is great. But outside that LL I don't like him and rather ally in another green ally than bring him, even prefer captains over him, probably cuz they allow for more troops and additional drop... Might be that I am also haven't played a single +700p game since they released. But I am still torn about the knights, still trying out around 4-6 every game, but I find them... Not achieving to much, which is a bit wierd since they are on paper great in the movement phase, where battles can be wun... And still... Let's just say they are not preforming for their price point compared to the normal troops... But I'll just have to keep trying them out. Of course everything could have to do with what I primarily faced with knights; ents, serpent horde, fellowship LL and easterlings.
@@NoobsandMen I disagree, it's the same cost as orcs. F2 (F3 mostly), S3, D4, 1A, 1W seems normal for 5 points to me. Their armor looks also the same like normal orcs to me.
Sorry but i'm much more afraid of girion and a horde of dale bows, than i am of a couple of F5 chumps and no horde. Girion is the top, the other guys are alright i guess. dale bows with spears, behind knights.. oof.. terrifying stuff.
Nah the new boys can horde out and be deadly as hell, plus d6 is enough to deal with most Dale shooting except Girion who sometimes only shoots once, I'm much more scared of a D7 beatstick like Bard II to than I am Girion, especially given how meh shooting can be and that they're a Good army. Sure Sean plays the exceptionally well but he'd be the only player I'm scared of having control of Girion -Liam
Booo you guys did our boi Girion dirty! If you play the list you would understand why he belongs in S. Still enjoyed the banter tho lol. Keep up the great eps.
That's what I'm saying!!!!! I still hold strong that my Boi Girion is S Tier, without a doubt one of the best mid tier heroes. I do understand where the others are coming from tho. -Sean
The guest was OK. Seemed like a nice guy and knowledgeable. However, I found him lacking in moustachery and thought he'd be so much better with a different name. Maybe something starting with a S. And ending with an N. Decent video though, all things considered.
