disclaimer: everything in this video is solely just my opinion!!! everyone has different experiences and I also literally don't remember 1/2 of these classes anyways LOL

How good the game design in UCSC really is?? UCSC’s rank is kinda low compares to other UCs but the game design major is like top10 in the states right now

Stumbled across your video! UCSC Neuroscience & Psych '14 graduate here and we took a few of the same classes -- all psych ones. 121 was a great class with a wonderful professor - I think it was Dr. D's first time teaching at UCSC as well! With 123, I wasn't too impressed with it either back in 2014 but it's bc I had already gone too in depth into my Neuroscience classes and the professor wasn't great (RIP Dr. B). Overall I wish I could've taken more UX/UI-based classes, but I don't believe too many were offered at the time I was there. ;) I ended up diving into Personality psychology a bit more and earning my first A+s in Personality classes like Clinical Psych & my senior seminar in Family Storytelling, which I still reference almost 8 years later. Thanks for the trip down memory lane :)

Hi i'm thinking of going for Game design major....just wondering if the Intermediate programming you ranked at the bottom in a part of it?

the professor who was teaching it at the time had a pretty rigorous curriculum that none of us were prepared for bc the class before was extremely introductory (they didn't bridge the 2 classes together well) but i wouldn't worry about this bc that class has since been discontinued! i would just be sure to focus on learning strong fundamentals in your introductory coding classes!
