@@crazyfutureradio As a wise man said, it's called being sarcastic or comedic. Trust me, you wouldn't want to see me "dramatic" on my 'no' days every month, cuz at that point you'd prefer negotiating with a terrorist than talking to an angry woman in her no days 🤗✨️
No he is not cloud has a trait mindset of zack and sephiroth if he become evil he will literally become evil when he become good he still can do something evil Its pretty much cloud mindset is pretty much broken as a character he is not himself instead he become zack's pretender
I actually like how in this they really pushed the idea of Cloud just being fucking gone. Dude is literally not even there at this time. And then the comrades are full aware of this and watching him. Knowing shit isnt right. But they arent going to push it right now. In the OG game the first time they really make it clear that the group has been watching Cloud just slowly get broken down and are actually deeply worried is when you finally get the airship. And they straight up say (Barrett) " We dont know whats going on with you. But we have your back" And to be honest considering that this "Cloud" is really more of sephiroth...i imagine the fear as well. The dude is being sold of being terrifying. And then you suddenly see your friend turning into that terrifying image and then turn around and go back to normal. The actual fuck are you supposed to do in that situation? Cloud knows it as well and he himself is even too scared to fully acknowledge it. He doesn't know whats going on with him...he cant control himself or what happens. Literally blanks out at those times. Is going through a total mental breakdown and is helpless to do anything about it.
Temple of the Ancients would be the first hint actually in the OG. After he beats up Aerith he doesn’t want to rescue her because he’s afraid of being near Sephiroth and what he can do to Cloud. They acknowledge it, but Barrett says “There ain’t no getting offa this train we on, till we get to the end of the line.” They also all saw Cloud give Sephiroth the black materia in the OG. Barrett even calls him out for it
Yeah this part of the game was kind of surprising, even though we know he loses control, definitely much more impactful. It actually made me really dislike Cloud for the rest of the game after around this scene. It was harder for me to feel bad for him, like even though I knew what was going on it was like in my eyes he was evil right through the ending. He really was just gone. Definitely had an impact!
There’s a bit of a misunderstanding on this part. At this moment, Cloud is being controlled by Sephiroth. He is a “puppet” after all. His friends know that something is going with him during the entire games and they just try to support him as they can during that moment.
I think literally EVERYONE who has played ANY FFVII knows that. There is ZERO misunderstanding. Your “explanation” is entirely unnecessary, except for the lowest common denominators out there.
@@Andre_Holmes Cloud's memories are a mess, so he would act like Zack and a cool, merciless warrior at first. Now while being manipulated by Jenova and Sephiroth, he says Sephiroth's words and uses his sword technique
@@Haydawg06 Palpatine also took advantage of Anakin's fear and desperation to save Padme after failing to save his mother. In the case of Cloud in FF7, Cloud doesn't remember most of his traumatic past in the early stages of the og game and remakes. It is only after Cloud remembers his true past and regains all of his memories thanks to Tifa and the lifestream that he is finally able to resist Sephiroth's influence.
@@inxine No, I'd dead serious. At the end of KH4, when Yozora is in the exact same car from FFXIII Versus, you see it end with the words "An Oath to Return." A lot of newer and lesser informed fans thought this meant "KH will return" somehow. No, and this is why he made the exact scene happen in KH4, that mirror VersusXIII 1:1. Even in KH4 Ultimania, he stated "This was actually a message for those fans who were looking forward to The VERSUS Epic, this message was tailored for them. I believe the message came across loud and clear." -- in his own words. He made an oath that FFXIIIVersus would return. An OATH (promise) to return. Out of his own mouth. He will never let his FFXIIIVersus, has teased it in KH4 a million times, with the unknown star actually being Stella, with her stating "HE (Tabata) got rid of my body, my name, all that I was." Well don't worry, Princess Stella, you will always be Noctis' true love, Yozora will always be a Nobody or Noctis, one that is being controlled by Noctis and looking for you, and the "Creator" spoken of, in game, is none other than Papa Nomura. H couldn't make it anymore obvious, he promises that FFXIIIVersus shall returnz and has made it his OATH (and life's promise). Hell, even Schala ad Caelum is an illusion to Zeal Kingdom from Chrono Trigger, with the now infamous artwork he drew or Noctis (yes, Noctis from the KH universe, but looking up at the moon). I'm rambling on b/c I dunno how to say it, but ALL this so Nomura can announce FF Versus never left.
@@nottomiokagiyu9830 No, it was because Tabata was money laundering from Square with a Chinese firm (the FFXV Facebook pyramid scheme, convicted) and Tabata wanted to sabotage Nomura to move up in th company. He's fired, failed, his XV is fire, and he will never make another videogame in his life. That said, Nomura literally made an "Oath to Return" while showing a 1/1 recreation of Yozora in the original Versus car WHILE in Versus Insomnia. Need we say more.
They act shocked but it's like come on you guys been killing monsters the entire time you've been going on this adventure you don't think at one point they didn't want to die
@@mikevignola4213 Batman: People who fight me get really sleepy. (Casually lites a man of fire with the flame jet of the Batmobile).... Poor guy got tuckered out and ran off to bed.
Lol as much as I like the intensity of this scene, there's that issue and cloud and friends just murdered 10 of these guys RIGHT before this and tifa has this shocked ass look cloud would kill this guy. Tbh games are best enjoyed when i don't think about things too much.
Please tell me people understood this isnt Cloud?? I was reading the comments kinda confused. Cloud would never willingly kill a Soldier like this. It's creepy. Sephiroth was controlling Cloud the whole time we were in the Temple.
Just how deep does JENOVA run in Cloud?! I mean we saw our newest SOLDIER sped boi succumb to his “upgrades” from what can be described as a mochi sized clump off cells, or a rather big strawberry, not that I would eat it but something we kinda need two bites to swallow it if we have to give it a name. And thus with Sephiroth’s hatred and the fact that he held onto the head off JENOVA when being yeeted into the Mako pool in Nibelheim ghe man manages to rewrite JENOVA to his hand thus controlling Cloud and the others in those black robes, but I wanna know how deep Hojo managed to dunk Cloud into this whole mess because this poor imitation Chocobo DOES NOT deserve this whole hell he’s in and I really hope that Zack can pull him out off this abyss in one way or another
I personally prefer when they handle the cloud evil moments like this instead of Seph whispering in his ear. Yeah, I know it’s all figurative but it just hits harder without Seph, like cloud has lost his humanity
I love this games but I do feel like a WHOLE lot of problems could've been solved/avoided if they would finish off their "enemies". All of the time they're like "let them go, we got what we came for" or "don't worry about them right now" it's kinda annoying tbh...i feel like by the end of rebirth ALL of our enemies are still alive and out to get us... 🤷🏻♂️
One of my gripes with this game is they'll watch cloud do shit like this then just brush it off and not mention ever again 💀💀,like they see him becoming sephiroth and start chasing aerith and the next chapter theyre like this weather is crazy💀💀
Shinra did threaten to put Aerith in a cage and drug, rape her and give her babies to Hojo be dissected. Those soldiers were there to collect. So not being the bigger man and ignoring pleas for mercy is off brand but kinda warranted in a Deadpool kinda way. As far as Cloud attacking Tifa and Aerith when they were alone that was Sephiroth choosing the right moments to take control when the gang wasn't watching.
@kieragard That is such a bullshit excuse and it doesn't even make sense here. We KNOW what each character knows and what they don't know and who they are and what they value. Their is NO REASON for them to be THIS neglectful of the things going on around them. They would acknowledge something is wrong outside of one or two weird looks at one another. And with that black materia Aerith scene, their should have been FAR more effort to stop Cloud from acting in the out of character way he was. Their is NO reason for all these events to be happening the way they are. The only reason it is is so it's convenient for the story to transpire the way the devs want it to. But that doesn't mean it makes sense
They think it is maco degradation. Besides, he's the leader and the strongest one. Without him, there is no mission or defeating Sephiroth. Also, they're loyal to him.
@stormcutter59 or they could just be written with flaws. Their friend is messed up. They know Shinra messed him up. They are sticking with him because he has done the same for them.
why are they now messing with the story this way? Yes, he struggled, with jenova/sephiroth cell control through the original until the last battle in the northern cave, this just makes him look like an actual murderer, which he didn't seem to be og, I was liking some of the things square added..
Solider: "I don't wanna die. I have so much to live for! I never even got to see the most recent RU-vid cat vid!" ;( Sepi/cloud: "It's not great. Just a cat boxing a printer." Solider: "Awww" :D Sepi/ Cloud: *Slash* Solider: "AAAAAGH"
That’s a soldier 2nd or 3rd class he KNEW what he signed for and probably killed a lot of people before and you want me to pity him while they fired at us first?
Yes its sephiroth, but why is tifa acting like killing a single guard in cold blood holds any more weight than the hundreds minimum they will kill if their plans go through?
Sephiroth was a little more graceful. Cloud just straight up slayed him like a pig from minecraft and didn't even think twice about it. Cloud is more of a villain to me.
