Maybe I'm showing my age here, but it didn't change that long ago. I've not actually driven the new one yet. There was actually an even earlier layout before this one - if you watch the onboard you can see the track going straight on at turn 2.
They reprofiles Riches and the Esses through the 90s more than once, but it was a great track. I don't like the modern version, it's lost its character.
