@@Bruhsound4.0 I do not have to google it, I have been making models for the past 20 years, and that is why I asked, if you wanted to do a black&white technique or pre-shading, at least that was your intention, why cover it up? it was a waste of paint and time if you wanted to do that effect, you should google how to dilute paint to achieve that effect, or I can tell you... you should use a mix ratio of about 40% paint and the rest of solvent (either thinner or water, depending on the paint you use) and paint with thin coats in slow airbrush passing so all your work using that technique actually shows, if not then you are just not doing it right and people watching this video won´t learn and do the same as you... with no results, because your tan paint for this M1A1 US M.B.T. cover all that work.
@@alejandrosilvestre5244 hmmm... i see, i always pre-shade my models, due to the fact that most of my model's i do are planes of metallic plating, thus under coating allows the metallic paint to have better overall color due to putting the paint on black give's the metal paint more dark tone's, and i assuming on a tank it would be similar, speaking of tanks, i should get a model tank and do one. *tally ho!*
@@Bruhsound4.0 exactly my point I am giving you my input, because the black&white or pre-shading technique do work, but if the paint is not applied carefully in thin layers there´s no show of the process and becomes useless, I do paint scale model air crafts as well, and the same principle applies specially with metallic finish you want to airbrush thin coats of metallic paint (usually silver chrome, "chrome" or even better aluminium paint) to get that desirable metal with different tones specially on panel to panel meeting.
