Thank you, sir! After years of suspender misery (or, as we would term it here in Scotland, "braces misery"), my suspenders now exert a vice-like grip. You are a blessing to mankind.
Finally found the answer to how to fix loose clips. This is a real public service. Thanks so much. This is what youtube is all about...sharing knowledge.
I have been wearing suspenders since late 70's and always said I'll fix them but never did just went out and bought new ones, this info worked great thanks.....
This video was EXACTLY what I needed to fix the weak grip of my suspenders. I had bought several pairs and agree - they basically all come somewhat defective. Your incredibly handy video is the perfect remedy. Thank you for sharing!!
G-d bless you, sir! They should award at least a "mini" Nobel Prize for such contributions - that have a real, immediate, and PRACTICAL impact on the human condition! 🙏😇👍
Awesome video man! One of my clasps became loose shortly after purchase and I had read reviews saying it’s always one clasp that gets loose! I tried bending the actual clip at all different angles lol until I saw this video!!! You are. STAR S Sir! Thank you 👏💪👊
thank you. i have piles of old suspenders, wasted cash. btw, those pliers are generally called 'vise-grips', so called for the company that is credited for inventing them. 'channel lock' is another trade mark for pliers that have multiple channels to adjust the opening size.
Thank you very much! I was trying to be bob the builder and try it myself but I got frustrated and this fixed the problem in literally less than a minute! THANK YOU !
Good video, thanks! We struggled for a long time yesterday to get them tighter. If they loosen again, it'll be a lot simpler the next time! One comment though, after over 40 years in Canada, I just cannot use that word that to my mind is still a word for a grannie's piece of underwear! Real Men wear BRACES, they do not wear suspenders! :-)
My clasp was completely different, but the video was still useful in figuring out how to disassemble the thing without ruining it. I managed to fix it by re-bending a small tab that got flattened somehow between the two clasps. Thanks for the info!
