when will these two un-funny lackeys realize that they are the opposite of what is entertaining. so NOT RELEVANT anymore…it’s sad. please stop trying to be comedians. you are sad shells of men! the only thing worse than Tim & Eric is Tim & Eric on Conan…geezus.
Maybe after a couple more decades of ridiculous success, fame, and wealth, they'll finally realize that despite YEARS of entertaining millions of people, they AREN'T entertaining. That's why shows like Conan book them, by the way. Because they're not entertaining XD The two guys what made a living making parodies of awkward cable access tv aren't "relevant" anymore, by the way. I'm sure that one stung lol.
That's cause it was actually a pretty funny response. Can't imagine trying to seriously interact with T&E while they're in any kind of character, but Conan is pretty witty.
I wish they would reboot Awesome Show! Some of the freshest comedy I have ever seen. My favorite skit is impossible to say, I liked Casey and his Brother Xmas, or Mr. Henderson to name several.
I respect everyone’s opinion on Tim and Eric bc they’re not for everyone but man I love their humor and also big fan of Conan. That was brilliant. ( just my opinion ). 🤘
The funny thing is that people who criticize them as not funny are totally "whoosh 747 style" not comprehending anti humor or irony and then go on to tell you how funny Adam Sandler and Drew Carry are.
Andy Kaufman's humor lives on through Tim Heidecker. It's sad to see it's genius go over the head of society once again, even conan seems lost. One day the world will look back and make that connection realizing what they missed out on.
I don't think Conan's lost at all because that's his style of humor. The audience however might be. Odenkirk and Conan were old writers on SNL. Odenkirk helped discover Tim & Eric and I'm sure there's a connection there.
@@Novastar6 It's written all over conan's face, especially when tim asks to go use the bathroom and returns. Nothing about this was scripted, everything was spontaneous and improved. conan had no clue what was coming next and that's clear by his body language, he was most definitely caught off guard and that's what I mean by lost. Usually jokes and the interview itself is scripted, but that wasn't the case for this one. He didn't know what to expect, Conan clearly has his guard up here.
@@zombywoof864 I'm just saying, I doubt Conan doesn't know Tim/Eric especially their type of humor because of his relationship with Bob Odenkirk. That's likely why they were on the show in the first place.
Annoyed at how you can't just enjoy what you enjoy without pretending like it's some big brain genius stuff that nobody else gets but you due to your massive throbbing brain. Check your ego lol.
Like Conan, like Tim and Eric but they’re not meant to be interviewed. They’re always in character and their material is always complete nonsense so there’s nothing to talk about🤣
Frankly I'd bet it came down to time. If T&E had to fill a slot for Conan's show- Conan likely put the work in for the slot to prepare the interview, which lots of other actors would love to have for their exposure. Cutting it short as a guest might have been a funny gag- and on brand for T&E, but it was at Conan's and the studios expense if it wasn't scripted. I'd wager the episode was cut short overall due to the early departure, and I imagine no one on Conan's team would appreciate that. Disrespectful, but like I said on brand. I still think both Conan and T&E are great. But if I were Conan I would have not put this clip in my show. Even if I was a fan, it was extremely disrespectful to leave early.
I think they both use absurdity for comedic ends, but in distinct ways. Conan’s sense of absurdity is based essentially on forms of repression and satire, which makes him an ironic and compelling host; Tim and Eric have a sense of absurdity based more on surrealism and subversion, which make them intriguing and hilarious as performers.
