Not at all. If anything she tries so hard to make it clear that she 'gets it' and tries to be in on it by being obviously sarky and smirking all the time. Even if she knew how to play it straight, which she doesn't, that still wouldn't have been better than watching a tool who doesn't get it at all. The awkwardness makes their interviews.
T&E usually leave interviewers speechless, but she went along with it. I'm guessing she got early access to Zone Theory: Womens Edition, because she's clearly on plane 6 or 7
“Ten years ago, I turned to Eric I said stop reading. I want you focused I want your brain open because we’re not going to be influenced by the latest Stephen King pile of trash.”
Jack _ are you Autistic how about you watch the video and find out, maybe they said they were going to vote for him as part of their joke to show everyone what trump voters look like.
After waiting over 5 years for the women's copy, which is still yet to be published, I've decided to get a sex change in order to finally read the original Zone Theory. Worth it.
@@anactualplant9574 Do you want an answer? I know they've cited many things in the past as influences, but they're basically of the opinion that they don't have solidly defined ones. 1. Awkward family relationships 2. Low-quality commercials/religious programming 3. British humor (Robert Popper, Peter Serafinowicz, Monty Python, Chris Morris) Can't give you a solid answer as to where I got this information, but there are sincere interviews out there.
@@mikkelfraskui They also were inspired by Howard Stern and the 80s/90s equivalent of cringe videos (like the James Brown CNN interview where he was high on PCP)
From 8:35-9:35 he is holding back a gigantic laugh SO hard that he has to fake cry just to not burst out in laughter and break character 😂 they're so amazing
The interviewEEs rather. Tim and Eric specialize in teasing the hell out of their pretentious interviewers. I can't find Huffpo's massive Trump-victory tantrum article (likely deleted long ago), but this was still a good read: www.quora.com/Why-is-the-Huffington-Post-widely-hated
24:08 How in the world does someone keep a straight face after someone talks about using a diarrhea dip-stick to read their emotions?! Simply amazing. Bravo to the whole bunch for keeping it under control. Great Job!
Tim is a master of weaving his laughter into his character. 3:53 for example. He can’t hold the laugh in any longer and just comes up with context on the spot.
Tim and Eric have this magical humor, like if someone would tell a joke and horribly fail because it was bad, Tim and Eric could just repeat the same joke without any changes and everyone would laugh their asses off.
If i was here 4 years ago when you posted this I would most definitely have a thing or two to say about this comment. Crud.. I wrote two twice, even though the words have different meanings they sound exactly the same and that really makes a horrible sentence structure. Thing or two to ..
This whole thing is a comedic masterpiece. From the setting to the characters and the interviewer. Going from talking about a new religious cult book and the different stages to Trump knowing how to tickle Tim in his special spot. You can sometimes see how close they are going over the edge and breaking character. But all three of them manage to get through it. Unbelievably good.
I actually saw this interview when it first came out and watched it several times then, and it occurred to me some 6 years later to find it and watch it again. It's that good! Totally agree...
Giant props to the interviewer for being one of the ONLY ONES I’ve ever seen who interviewed Tim and Eric and played it straight so it isn’t cringe and hard to watch. So many interviewers try so hard to be in on the joke and do their style and ironically she got to be more part of the bit then anyone of them, by actually playing it STRAIGHT. All those other losers clearly think they’re so funny and they can’t pass up not trying desperately hard when these famous comedy guys come through
I love the way the interviewers just mockingly goes "hmm" throughout the interview at how ridiculous the whole thing is. She is great and needs to be permanently on Tim and Eric 😆
This book is so great it helped me kick my bad eating habits and start living my life to the fullest. I ditched my leech friends and dumb family and am now on the straight and narrow feeling finally like a real man for the first time in my life. Ba'haa Priss Timee - Matt (Zone Plane 4)
@@maxrusty3596 They broke character. I’ve watched them for a long time. Tim also addressed the appearance on a podcast a couple of years ago, and mentioned how they broke a couple of times, including then.
Tim's a comic genius 🤣 How are they staying stone dead straight ??? 🤯 Monk level concentration ... I couldn't do it, Tim comes super close to cracking up, but, Eric ... wow. Not even a thing 🤯 He's brilliant. Love this 🥰 You can hear the crew laughing 😅
Have not laughed this hard in a long time, they are so good. The interviewer is really good. A huge reason why this was so funny and loose. How are they not cracking up?
This might be my favorite interview ever. Tim and Eric kill it as they normally do but the interviewer is one of the few I’ve seen who can roll with their punches and actually add something to the mix.
Man this is by far the best 'interview' they've done IMHO. "It's a, It's a, It's a pyramid scheme that works; is what I told my uncle today on the phone." BAAAA HAAAAA, HOMEIYANI AND TROMBONE.
