@@bklmsoul Wow what a unique take. You just spit out the same cliches and opinions of Rancid, Brody and Bikini Kill that every review of the past 30 years has. Bikini Kill is considered “ innovative “ for 1 reason only- They combined the favored counterculture politics of feminism with punk rock. That’s it. I like the band but musically and vocaly their is nothing innovative about them, they’re by the numbers punk rock that often times sounds amateur as fuck. But they had all the right opinions. Which is why the critics love them. Put different inconsequential lyrics in those songs and they would have been ignored or made fun of. As far as the video goes, you see what you wanna see since you’re a fan of Bikini Kill - they look disinterested and I guarantee they disliked Brody. We all know she sounds like Courtney and it’s well documented what happened between BK and Courtney

@@mikehoben7341 Nah I'd say Kathleen Hanna came up with her own vocal delivery for sure. Of course they're disinterested and look as if they dislike someone. That was certainly part of their "thing" as well. If it's about "hot takes" well, 2+2 still equals 4. I simply don't see any "professional jealousy." As far as things "we all know" - I dunno nuffin about rancid or how Brody Dalle sounds before this so you're blessed with my instant and fresh opinion. True, no one else ever used Kathleens vocal cords before she did. That would be something. Other than that, no she didn’t do anything vocally innovative and if I’m mistaken please direct me to the song(s) where she does. I had assumed you had knowledge or are a fan of Rancid, you’re watching part 3 of a 4 part video series on Tim Armstrong after all. Rancid r amazing . Debut street punk. Let's go catchy hard-core. And Out come T. W. Best punk album ever. Life W.W. stellar .Everything else terrific. Transplants amazing. U would need a month to properly explore how fantastic they r as a group.
