This is a hot take: but I think Tim and Conner as Platonic Soulmates, I ship Tim with Stephanie and Kon with Cassandra (Cain), but these two have probably had the biggest effect on each other’s lives along with Bart, TimKonBart is one of if not the best Dc Bromance
I'm sad that I only started to get interested in reading comics now. So much has happened that you don't even know where to start. If there is a manual, I couldn't find it
There's no manual for getting into long form comics like this, unfortunately. Personally, I picked a character and just read their stuff - Tim. I just started with his Robin series and went from there, branched out to Young Justice and Teen Titans and the like. I might recommend starting with trades, because they'll package whole storylines together and you won't have to go hunting for random comic books from disperate comics to finish plotlines. There's also nothing wrong with utilizing the wiki to get the gist of some things, but if there's a plotpoint you read there you're interested in, I'd recommend finding the storyline its from and giving it a read yourself to get a full picture of it. Focus on the parts that interest you.
If you go to a bookstore rather than a comic store, they are more likely to have the comic books gathered in one volume for a single arc, and they often have sources for their outside references, sometimes they even have suggestions for related books. Really there is no right or wrong place to start reading, I agree with starting on a single character, just find one that looks interesting. Also sometimes you can sign up for a digital collection? Which isn't the same as physical copies, but can be a good starting point.
