When I was a kid in middle school, we had a Y-Club district director who would crack jokes and play his guitar. He was funny and very kind and the sort of upright man I wish I'd had in my family. That's one reason I like Tim so much. He reminds me of those times- the best days of my life. I wonder if Mr. Smith had any idea how much he meant to so many of us kids back then.

My sister and I both found this comment by Tim to be uncalled for. I generally try not to be too uptight about comedy and laughing at oneself, but I feel this crossed a line.
Which line did it cross? The true one that is so absurd it is funny? He was speaking a direct truth there that gets demonstrated daily, which is why it's so funny, and also sad.
Atheist's proof for their claims is essentially "you can't prove your case in a way that satisfies us and therefore that means we don't have to prove our case."
Not funny saying you’re racist if you don’t mix your foods. I feel like there are a few things that should be considered not funny subjects and racism is one of them. Very disappointed that this is where Tim’s mind is at nowadays.

He was quoting an article and making fun of it. He was more or less making fun of the people who wrote the article, not neccesarily the concept of racism.
