@@chrispile3878 No, they do not own Sugarlands. They are guest distillers. A lot of people on this show have worked with Sugarlands, including Tickle and Mark. This show is also filmed at Sugarlands to avoid any legalities.

Tickle is just as common as shoe leather, and that's fine. He is there to provide true comic relief. His facial expressions are usually enough to make me laugh.

That stuff is fantastic

Maybe his flavor of liquor isn't for me but I bought a bottle of climax moonshine and it was absolutely the worst taste of moonshine, let alone liquor I've had. I love the passion and story behind all of it. But I was disappointed. It tasted like I was drinking the liquid from an old peice of wood.

@@joshuakearbey9114 Interresting. The bottle I have smells like a blend of unaged corn, malted barley and rye and when I drink it I can taste all three. I have only two other commercial moonshine brands. One tastes like corn mash only and the other is neutral and may as well be vodka.

@@grapetonenatches186 I'm not bashing him or his products. Just wasn't for me I guess. My father who's been drinking shine for over 40 years even tasted it and said he's never had any that tasted like that. He wasn't a fan of it either.

That's your only problem? O wow, I personally can't even begin to think where to start actually :) But lets start at the glassware, somehow they found the smallest excuse for a glass jar as tasting glasses. But discovery somehow decided to even not use a proper nosing glass in a contest. A huge insult if you ask me. And the color in inhumanely dark for just a days worth of soak time. Perfectly fine for tea, but whiskey? Again an insult for the real craft. It is a valid technique to use to judge the possible effects of ageing it for several years. You put in a huge amount of wood of different chars in different pots, wait for a few days and judge which flavor profile to go for. Usually small runs and hobbyist level.

Go complain to someone who cares.
