People are seemingly missing the point of this ad, it's supposed to be a "take that" to executive meddling, the idea of jumping on every trend to appeal to kids, and the current trend of the overuse of autotune.
@@Lonestarr022 Personally, I’ve never had any significant issue with Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. I prefer Jon Miller & Joe Morgan, who like Buck / McCarver have had many detractors over time. Morgan and McCarver both shot from the hip, grumpy old baseball lifers, and they are worthy of lampoon. I can’t say that today’s national broadcasters are necessarily any better. Yeah, it matters that the play-by-play guy has a pleasant tonal quality. And as you say, Joe (while sterile) lends gravity to proceedings on the field that generates excitement at home. One can’t ask for too much more.
screw all these haters on Buck and McCarver, they seem to be holding back all bias in this years post season, something some of the best announcer were unable to do. They call a good game
Unfortunately, Autotune cannot change mispelled words or replace wrong ones with better ones, so McCarver would still suck pretty bad. But at least Joe and Tim's voices wouldn't be so grating.
Doesn't fox Saturday baseball mess with traditions? Because it isn't one, it's an annoyance to fans all around the country, especially us giants fans who are so used to kruk and kuip
No inflection, no emotion, just boring as shit especially compared to his father whose coattails he rode into the job--if not for nepotism there's no way he's be anywhere near a mic
