I jut wish Joe Buck could show his humor on gameday as well. He's the Brian Williams of Sports announcing. He has the same voice, and same humor, but lets it go when he's on air.
see I like how relaxed he is and how much fun he has with the criticisms levelled at FOX. He's obviously tired of hearing about them and knows how much everyone hates the station (which they have every right to) and he has a good sense of humor about it here. I feel like people hate on him because he likes to joke around a little bit like this but he pulls it off well and he still gets serious and tense and dramatic for big moments when the time comes.
@GalaxyVoyage1 actually it's Aikman who's biased toward the Cowboys...Buck has never showed bias. He brought up Jeter in this interview because Jeter was hands down the best player in the MLB in '07
That's not how it went at all. It was "Pressure from Thomas off the edge, Eli Manning...stays on his feet! Airs it out down the field and it is...caught by Tyree!" Seriously, if you're going to try to quote someone and then insult them for what they said or how they said it, atleast try to get the quote right.
I had to google to find out who Joe Buck was. Seriously, I seem him on car rental commercials & had no idea who he was. I only watch Hockey and The World Series so that probably explains it. Never seen a regular baseball game and never watch football ever.Best day to take your children bowling and to a restaurant? Super Bowl Sunday.I'm in TX and you could rob a jewelry store or break in a bank on Super bowl Sunday & nobody would know.
so you like your announcers speaking in mono tone and talking with no emphasis. I swear.... if my cubbies ever win the big dance, im gonna have a melt down if i have to hear joe buck call it like it's just another day at the office.
