I was going to a show in Tinley Park Chicago with my sister and Tim delivered in spades! His harp player is amazing and the lyrics follow the American people and hits home with anyone who cares for American way of life
I was born in Prague, lived in US, and I found south to have the most genuine people. The Christian roots are still palpable there (both among the whites and blacks) and that makes all the difference. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless the South and the whole USA. Amen.
I was born in the north "Ohio" and raised and lived in the south "Louisiana" ironically. These southern people are the best and wholesome folks I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing

Southern people are the kindest, most giving and loving people you will ever meet!! My grandmother, who we called Nanny, after saying hello to anyone that cane into her house, immediately asked what could she get you to eat and drink.
i was born & raised in Alabama. i called my grandmother ( on my daddy's side Nanny). my daddy's family is from Alabama. My mama's family lives & from Virginia. i call my grandmother on my mama's side grandma
I am from the SF Bay Area and lived in California the majority of my life but I love this song and I know of all the names he mentioned in the song I am in my 50’s so as they say I have lived a little😂
The point is, NO one has ever heard of "Northern Pride" but Everyone has heard of "Southern Pride". Now, just why is that??!! If you ever lived in the South, you already know exactly why!!
I'm born in NYC ,raised in Puerto Rico,OTR trucker in the USA since 1999 and I have this to say about Southern Culture: It's Awesome: beautiful hard working people👍🏻
Pedro Rivera I know 1 thing Florida people hate when Northern people go to Florida to escape winter weather. Us Northern people are called SNOW BIRDS. It was cool that Lynyrd Skynyrd & Allman Brothers played in Buffalo, NY in 70s. Buffalo is called ( SNOW CAPITAL OF USA ). Its true we get 10-12 feet every winter. 1977 Blizzard is where we got that name it snowed everyday in December & January. Was a bad storm 80mph winds 16 feet of snow, City & Schools closed for 3 weeks. Still had snow on ground in June. Had to use Snowmobiles to recue people. The wind trapped people in there house. Even the weather Guys cant figure out why Buffalo gets the most snow of all other Citys near 5 Great Lakes. ALWAYS WHITE CHRISTMAS IN BUFFALO
Tim, thanks for all the years of genuinely great county music. And you keep the hits coming. After 20 years stuck in SoCal in the Marines, I retired and now live in Oriental NC. Finally living the life I love!!
Thank you for your service.semper fi.i used to live with a marine.he showed me once how he marched.he was a tank crewman.trained at i think twin palms.cali.been so long.i forgot.
Funny how people say my home Florida isn't southern yet this song mentions Apalachicola, Daytona (where Earnhardt Sr lives on), & Tom Petty (Gainesville native).
What ah great country song ? Makes me want to dance I tell ya. I to like that part of the song, ( Jesus is my friend. America is my home 🎸🎙🎶📻🔊 ) I should of left upstate NY. when I was 20 years old like I had planed on. I had no state in particular I was going to settle into. I had a few bucks in my pocket and figured I would sleep in my big ole Ford LTD. and whare ever I felt most comfortable, I was just going to find a job as a radiostation Dj. And enjoy life as a southerner. 📷🎛📷📡🎧🎙🎵🎶🎵😊
I'm from South dakota. Can I call myself a southerner as well? Love this country with all my heart. Ready to defend her too the death. Whose with me? AMERICA WILL REMAIN GREAT!! 🇺🇸

Hank Williams sang it, Number Three drove it Chuck Berry twanged it, Will Faulkner wrote it Aretha Franklin sold it, Dolly Parton graced it Rosa Parks rode it, Scarlett O. chased it Smooth as the hickory wind That blows from Memphis down to Apalachicola It's, "Hi y'all, did ya eat well? Come on in, I'm sure glad to know ya" Don't let this old gold cross And this Allman Brothers t-shirt throw ya It's cicadas making noise With the Southern voice Hank Aaron smacked it, Michael Jordan dunked it Pocahontas tracked it, Jack Daniels drunk it Tom Petty rocked it, Dr. King paved it Bear Bryant won it, Billy Graham saved it Smooth as the hickory wind That blows from Memphis down to Apalachicola It's, 'Hi y'all, did ya eat well? Come on in, I'm sure glad to know ya" Don't let this old gold cross And this Crimson Tide t-shirt throw ya It's cicadas making noise With the Southern voice Jesus is my friend, America is my home Sweet iced tea and Jerry Lee Daytona Beach, that's what gets to me I can feel it in my bones Smooth as the hickory wind That blows from Memphis down to Apalachicola It's, 'Hi y'all, did ya eat well? Come on in, I'm sure glad to know ya" Don't let this old gold cross And this Charlie Daniels t-shirt throw ya We're just boys making noise With the Southern voice, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Southern voice I got a Southern voice Southern voice

@Tim McGraw If you ever toured the UK especially venues in and around Plymouth/Exeter me and my family would love to see you live. Though I think it's unlikely. Did see you on a morning TV programe but it was a few years ago.
@Tim McGraw If you did a tour of the UK Yes. Nearly met Paul Brady, check him out by the way (Dancer in the Fire). In the bar after his show, but got cancelled at the last minute, due to Eric Clapton being in the audience. Paul did apologise to people for that. If it does not cost a small fortune, it would be nice. Hope you are having a good Sunday 26th.
I volunteered for temporary orders at tyndal AFB in Florida. I insisted I drive there from Az because I wanted to see the south. Once I past San Antonio it was one of the best drives I ever did. I also visited Alpachicola FL.
Anyone who hasn't been to real Florida thinks we're just a beach. We're the intercoastal, rolling hills of the interior, endless swamps and creeks and moss-covered live oaks as far as you can see. There's nothing like it. Glad you could appreciate what our beautiful state has to offer.
amen, my boyfriends from tennessee, born raised couthry boy, i had a longtime friend, born in nashville, very thick backwoods southern coutntry boy voice, love it
And as far as getting .more southern sure I Mean it starts with Mexico all the way down SOUTH America all the way to Antarctica I mean technically you're waaaaayy off
Nice bro I’m a fellow Detroit grew up there with a lot ppl from the south that came to Detroit to work in the auto plants my best friend his family was from Tennessee went there with him a few times. He’s now retired and living in Tennessee with his family. I grew up in southwest Detroit, Graduated from Southwestern high school in 1984 . ..
As an Alabama fan, (my Daddy’s uncle played *with* Coach Bryant when Coach played at Alabama), I love it and laugh when you hold up the LSU shirt! That Coach and sweet man from Selma stayed close friends until Coach died. Roll Tide!
A great way to say, it's a blessing to be from the South. Wouldn't trade anywhere or anything for it. TG couldn't have summed it up in rhyme and rhythm better.

In the 80's John "Cougar" Mellencamp reigned as my favorite "country boy" male singer until Tim McGraw busted onto the scene in the 90's. Now don't get me wrong, Johnny Cougar is still one of my favorite Southern bro's but there ain't nobody smoother than ole Tim. Smooth with a WHOLE-LOTTA soul. If I were a White dude singer, I wanna by Timmy for sure! #RealTalk
Jeremy Murray Wish Nascar would come to Niagara Falls Canada. They built a track 6 years ago. The Track is only 20 minute drive from Buffalo, NY. Closest Track is Watkins Glen.
