@@MarlboroughBlenheim1 I don't think so. Not every joke is a display of his genius, but in a whole show there's a lot more to it than people give him credit for. The jokes themselves, but also the order of them, when to do a longer one, when to do a one-liner. His wordplay is extraordinary. It's patently true to call Eminem a genius for his wordplay, and Tim's is not diminished for being in a lighter context. There are very few comedians who can do everything Tim does.
there are many ''one liner'' comedians.. but none have that solemn idiot 'vibe ' which Tim honed to such a sharp point which even the entire dead Goon cast's ghosts are a wee bit jealous of.
Yes...an extra clip on the DVD "So I Said To This Bloke" BUT What is the name of the ACTUAL programme in which he did all this? He also does Pen behind the ear...and those week jokes.
I've been trying to remember the song about his uncle drowning for years. 🙄 Could never remember what it was to search for it. So, I'm going through Assassin's Creed games in preparation for Mirage and I'm on Unity and there are Alarm Bells you have to sabotage. So I start singing "Alarm bells... Alarm bells... Alarm bells..." every time I see one and, obviously, I have to get it up on RU-vid and right underneath Alarm Bells... "Family Holidays". Hmmm... that rings a bell (badum tsch)... I wonder. 🤔 "Ha hahaa... ha hahaa..." THAT'S IT! 🤣 Funny how things work out! 🤦🏻♂️
He does get stroppy with his audience. Not a good thing to do. I’ve seen him do this with other audiences. He’s got another side to him that isn’t the persona he projects.
