The NBA talking points and game/series picks will always sway towards name brand. There is something called team chemistry. And no team in the league has better chemistry than the wolves. As far as many different play styles and types on the roster. Everyone actually really likes each other alot top to bottom. Tons of selfless players giving props constantly to other players. They all WANT to play defense. They are not afraid to tell eachother things in the moment out of tough love. Players on the bench have pure joy for the guys on the court all season long. I have watched every team many times. No other team is built like this wolves team. I have said since after first 2-3 months, that this team smells like a finals team.

bunch of casuals and it’s clear who you’re rooting for. The Timberwolves have one of the best defenses we’ve seen in the last 15 years. They have size, they have length, they have switchable guys, they have youth, they have experience, they have dawgs in Ant, Naz & Jaden McDaniels… Alexander-Walker too. Offensively, how are they going to stop KAT & Naz Reid and then Gobert at the rim? Whose going to stop them?? We already know AntMan will get his 30. But they got other guys like Conley, McDaniels, Alexander-Walker, Anderson, Monte Morris etc etc who can chip in enough to win.

You win a Championship with Defense, not with just Offense. D Book is inconsistent his whole career in the Playoffs and KD is always on a Team who can't stop anybody, since he left GW. There is more to the game than just offense. Suns have two players that the side of the same coin and a third player that’s a taller version of the first two. No PG to set their offense and get them easy looks, no defense, no bench. Minnesota is a top 5 maybe top 3 Defensive team with McDaniels, Gobert, ANT, KAT. And they have a bench with Alexander, Naz Reed, McLaughlin.

The Suns are toast. The main issue is size and toughness. The Timberwolves have tremendous rebounders and size down-low compared to Phoenix. They also had the number one ranked defense during the regular season. This series is a matchup nightmare for Phoenix and they have a very high probability of getting swept.

The rating difference between the wolves #1 defense and the #2 difference is the same rating difference between the #2 defense and the #10 defense this season. They weren't just good. Or great. This is why I don’t like people Shady or SAS when it comes to KD cause all they talk about is offense. He can drop 30 he is efficient yes and yes. But there is more to the game than just scoring. KD had 31 Ant had 33 you tell me which one had the most impactful 30 performance in that game. KD had 1 assist and 5 turnovers being careless way too many times with the ball.
