I just ordered one on Amazon today, August 11 in the United States at 9:40 PM. They estimate it would arrive no later than August 19. It’s not really I need it but just to have.
Thanks James. I'm based in Kernow, as are you I believe. I own a 2005 Suzuki Carry that I am considering converting into a break-out camper. This set up appears best suited for my needs: like yourself, I am not given to electrical wizardry. Great work, thanks again.
Hi, I am indeed in Kernow! I love Suzuki Carrys, such compact vans 🚐 Best of luck with your conversion, hope the power set up works as well for you as does me - it's a gamechanger! ⚡
This product overview could have been done by anyone to be fair ... I was hoping for a practical review from the perspective of someone who owned a micro-camper/NV200 ... Like how it works in practise, where do you place it in your setup, how you managed to charge it during a trip, what devices you could run on it (electric induction hobs etc) ... Maybe for a follow up video ?
I hear what you're saying, but every van conversion is completely different and, as such, so are the appliances. No follow up video planned, so to answer your questions: it goes on the floor and I move it if it's in the way (it's a tiny camper after all), I charge it with the solar panel featured in the video (or obviously mains if available) and you can pretty much run any items that don't exceed 1800w, though the length of time depends on individual usage.
