I own a 2023 rmz250 and it takes a second to get the suspension figured out because from the factory it isn’t right for any rider but once you do it is a awesome bike I run it in pro class in the woods and I will hang with anyone on it getting top 5 overall ever weekend. I never even rode one before buying it. One of the dealers wanted to sponsor me with it to try and help sell them so I got a good deal on it but even if I didn’t I would buy another again once this one has had it completely.
What we need to do is switch the Suzuki plastics to make it look like a Gas Gas and see what she says then👍😆😆😆😆 You guys are awesome for helping with the little kids races. Giving back to any sport is what it's all about. I coached soccer for over 10 years after I blew out my knee.
How old and tall is Lillian now that she is ready to ride a 250? Just a few years ago she could barely figure out how to get a bike going! All the kids have had amazing progress so far though and it was hilarious to see them helping the younger ones in the beginning.
I think she'd be fine on a 250. I'm 18, started riding dirtbike when I was 15 almost 16. Yes I only have a 140 and ride only trails and street, but I've also rode my dad's 300 duelsport(Ik it's not equivalent to a race bike in power) and also rode friends ktm 450 race bike, and a Z650 sport bike. I'll likely be buying a Z900 because I loved the feel of the 650, just feel I could use the little more power. But backing off rambling, she would be fine on a 250, maybe a honda or even yamaha, those are real good from what I've seen
Good job dad and good job kiddos for helping with the kid BMX class. Right from the get-go the way Lilly ride that Gas Gas, she looks good and comfortable on it. Dad, I think she really like Gas Gas
Great video guys, Well done for helping the little BMX Kids, Wow what a surprise Lilian choosing the gasgas I thought she would of stuck with the husky the way she likes them.
So cool working with the kids doing the flagging.👍 Lillian is becoming a bike snob.😂...she needs a kick start only suzk for a year just to realize it is as fast as any other bike. It is 90% rider skill and 10% bike.
I've seen this channel years ago, when your daughter was learning. you were all at a bike shop. I think she was jumping a ramp step up... now, you can tell the talent gap from then. She looks like a female version of Haiden Deegan, no joke. She just needs to improve on what she is already doing. Her technique is very good. Go for the RMZ
@travelingmike40 the Starg doesn't really fit in any race class.... Maybe women's open 🤔 My guess is these electric bikes will be classed separately from the gas bikes 🤷♂️
The Gasgas suspension looks doing better job - at least on the video, but I think its a matter of a good setup for her weight, the Suzi seems more bumpy, more stiff. I liked gusgus
Any advice for the back tire feeling slick and sliding out could it be the rear brake like draging and also what would make it to where i can kick over my 450 with my hand but it still runs?
Go 125s for a couple years until she builds more muscle. I know she trains a lot, but that jump from a supermini to a 250f is huge, especially for young girls
It was awesome watching her on the rmz shes a darn good rider she needs to shift up tho and I bet she gets alot better then she already is no hate either just my advice/opinion love the vids
Lol she said poor Kenny, once you have enough muscle/meat, they’re actually fairly easy to kick over. My 250f honestly is super easy to kick, but my fourtrax has a lot more kick to it. Ya just gotta get used to it
She looked the best on the Stark! All the 125 front ends look like they slapped down hard on the jumps compared to the rmz. That looked way more level and smooth.
Crazy she likes the GasGas ✊😁 I have a question, how the heck do you guys keep the Dango chin mount from falling off Every time I jump or even hit a bump the dang thang falls right off 😅
If I was you, I would stay on a 125 2 stroke for a bit, get a 250 4 stroke for maybe a year just to get used to a little bit of extra weight and power then go to a 250 2 stroke. With a 4 stroke, the bike does everything for you and you don’t actually learn how to properly ride. 2 strokes are harder so you will end up having a lot more progress in the long run over a 4 stroke. Take your time though. If you feel you’re not ready for a 250 2 stroke, chances are you aren’t. 250 2 strokes are like a 450 on steroids
@@Twowheeleddevil I ride a kx100, and I practically land the triples at the track. I’ve ridden 4 strokes for years and I don’t like them. It’s lazy, I love clutch bumping it and zooming through the inside rut then dhifting, 3, 4, 5 ect. I don’t want to go jns. Corner in 4th and just hold down the gas. 4 strokes are for lazy people
@@ChickenDockYou’re best bet is to go to a 125 in that case. The KX100 is around 26HP and the 125 is around 32. It’ll be noticeable for a little and you will easily grow into it but it’s the next step toward getting a full size bike. Don’t get a 250 straight away unless you’re willing to have a few good wrecks. Going from 26HP to 50HP can be difficult
@@Twowheeleddevil I was thinking the same thing. Kx125’s, older ones that have been recently rebuilt o for around 1500 in great condition. I could sell my bike for around 2k, since it’s a 2006 and is fully upgraded cosmetically
I'm so excited to see how Lillian progresses when she moves up onto the bigger bikes, I think she is going to perform really good next year for upcoming events you guys go enter
@@VlogEpicness oh yeah for sure. I just saw the new video you posted earlier, that was a nasty fall for mason but it was good to see the other kid go help him. not sure if it was Luke or not I couldn't see very well but amazing stuff!
lol why is Lillian making fun of having to kickstart 🤣 she has always had a kick start so she should be use to it and not the E Start lol. Suzuki definitely needs to update it though. The RMZ is actually a very good bike, but yeah not many people want to have a bike with a kick start anymore when no other bike does. I work for a Suzuki / Polaris dealership and Suzuki said they don’t plan on upgrading to one anytime soon. They don’t really care about the dirtbike part of the company, they make most of their money from street bikes and scooters and stuff. Wouldn’t think it would take that much effort to upgrade it
I just sold my bike yesterday to get a 85cc should I get a cr85 kx85 or yz85 which one would you pick Brandon also I’m racing it which would be better in races?
@@Kbergerracing238not everyone lives near a dealership that sells husky, I gotta go to Illinois if I ever wanna buy one, my local dealership only sells ktm Yamaha and kx for dirtbikes
@@Masty62 def don’t want no rm lmao but ktm is nearly impossible to buy down where I live we only have Honda kawi an Yamaha dealers an marketplace the ktm gas has an husky’s are like 5000 an were trynna get a 85 for like 2000 plus no one around here knows much abt ktm husky an gas gas sooo
I don’t know how old Lillian is but if I were you I would just put her on a 250 4 stroke, she would progress a lot better on a 250! She would absolutely love the GasGas 250 four stroke way more then a 125. She’s killing it!!!!
She’ll need a 250 eventually to be competitive. But the idea is to start on a 125 so she can get used to the height and build some muscle. Thanks for comment 👊🏻
I honestly think the sooner she gets on a 4 stoke, the better if she wants to compete at the "pro" level... But then again this is coming from someone who doesn't compete so...
You asked her what would make her the most competitive…. I would say none of these bikes. She should be looking at a 250f. Yeah I know everyone wants to see her on a 2 stroke but whatever you may think of them the 250f is just going to make her more competitive long term.
Nor would learning on a four stroke make her more competitive long term 4 strokes create lazy riders. Riding a slower bike makes you learn how to corner fast using momentum rather than just using the bottom end power four strokes have
Like I have said before, i enjoy the video's. Now im not a hater but im sorry Lillian knows nothing about the Suzuki's. All she and you go off is what the industry is saying before you even give it a chance. Ya sure it's not a popular bike amongst everyone. But if you watch vital mx, swap moto live, and other reputable youtubers who actually know what they're talking about don't bad mouth it like you and Lillian say. I own both the 250 and 450 2023's and I have friends who actually like it for it's great turning ability. I will never disrespect you or Lillian or the boy's. I just defend the Suzuki's. And i have been riding since I was 8 and im 54 now. I have honestly ridden them all and every one of them have their own trates i like in all of them. I just like the Suzuki and with them being cheaper than all the others. The money you save on buying one you can put that money into making the Suzuki the way you like it. Keep making those great videos. And ripping it up all of you.
Brandon I have to ask you why ? Why is ok to minimize and basically make fun of what a flagger is or does out on the track .. I've spent a lot of time flagging for your kids and I don't find it very cool for you to downplay what a flagger does ... For some of us that do this all year round at 3 tracks in PNW .. I find it really disrespectful how you downplay a flagger job..
